I wouldn't be able to answer that without actual insight into pretty much every publishers/developers pipelines, but Sony has only had one showcase for PS5 so I'm not taken for granted that there could be stuff, especially as I said if Sony is going out of their way to encourage developers to PS5-only instead of cross gen.
The idea that mid tier stuff is going to be PS5 only is quite frankly incredibly unlikely.
I wish fairy tail had done better but the franchise is pretty much over besides the spinoff. Better get an Eden's Zero game out faster then.

PS5 isn't for mid tier games. That's like saying Switch will get AAA releases without a Playstation version.

At the launch window (so the highest it's ever going to be due to how enthusiast markets work) 40% of pro owners were existing PS4 owners.
Base to Pro upgrade path is and will always be marginal because the Pro didn't replace the base SKU
150k next week followed by an avg of 100k for the rest and we are looking at.... 1325k for the quarter. I'm still going with 1.6mil hoping for 1.75mil

These are insane legs. After a few years into a platform Nintendo's software sales turn into a huge snowball of old games that still sell and new hit titles. They're a very efficient company.
I'm talking about the key suspects like Namco (with late ports), Sega, and Capcom.
The support has definitely gotten better, but the way the platform is selling I'd argue the support isn't enough.

Japanese developers that systemically continue to avoid Nintendo are counted in the fingers of two hands, but since many of them are among the biggest there's always this false impression it's a general trend.

One last thing. The point, that apparently flew well above your head, is that there's plenty of subjectivity in this thread already through predictions, the actual prediction doesn't matter, and expectations so to be the one saying "Personal anecdotal is good, any info is better than no info." in a sarcastic way is beyond ironic.
Saying "Days Gone looks to have a 80-90k opening" isn't any more factual or accurate than me bringing up anecdotal evidence, unless you're reporting on something that has an actual source, not just your interpretation based on highly sparse data.

I don't think anyone should expect anything remotely appealing to Japan at another Sony event that happened when Japan was sleeping.
