Same lolPlayed for close to 20 hours. Found out just now I can remove the debris in the base territor
Edit: nevermind, just got some of those as a reward for co-op.I cannot for the life of me find those sensor unit, i read you can find those in africa but nothing so far.
So, The game tells me I need four beds and I only have two. I take it the shelters are my beds but I can't build more than the two I already have. How do I unlock more shelters for building?
Played for close to 20 hours. Found out just now I can remove the debris in the base territory. I went from cursing my lack of buildable space to going nuts with elaborate placement planning.
10 hours is pretty huge tho (talking about users reviews) honestly, if I game didnt grab me in the first 5 hours, i usually quit
I was unaware that there were two other multiplayer maps. Airport and ruins. Just beat the game and got level 40 rating finally. So what type of stuff happens after end game? Im starting to get a little burnt out on it after 50 hours
I'm end game. Ive been checking in with them everyday just to make sure they are alive. :(You probably have too many people in your base for that early in the game. I guess just hunt and stockpile food and then move forward till you get more things you can do for food.
Im
Base defenses and sub classes are the big thing. There are a few optional things post game in the world too.

You cant have both spear and bow at the same time. Are there ever extra primary weapon holders? Would like to have Bow and Spear together...
That's rough to hear considering a trophy is rewarded at 30. Maybe they don't all have to be there simultaneously though, I don't remember the exact wording. :sI don't recommend having more than 22 people at the base because of the current limit of food resources.
You can get up to 30 but you'll always be in the negative because the food resources can't meet the demand of 30 people.
I haven't tried the other weapons but you can also do that with a machete.Holy shit, i have no idea you could do this

I found out about that in the warmup area of coop someone tossed a nade at me while i was laying down. So you can leg sweep them aswellHoly shit, i have no idea you could do this

Trading the stick with a bow? Why would I do that? I love poking over stuff... at least in the early game it seems like the best option?
That's good to hear. I usually love bows in games but right now I see no use for it.If you know you have fences, the spear is great. But the bow's risk value is so low it was by far my #1 weapon across the entire game. You can 2-3 shot most enemies without being in danger, whereas without the fence, the spear is still mainly a risky melee weapon. Very early in the game the spear still wins out because you're extremely ammo limited, but once you have a pouch or two, your ammo count skyrockets and the ammo types kick in before you get something similar on melee, as well.
At the next layer. Quite enjoying my time with it - glad I stuck it past the rough opening (though I guess MGSV was the same in that respect). Anyone want to help me out with where I'm currently stuck.
So I'm trying to secure Sahelanthropus and the 15m wave is a killer. Not really sure how to go about keeping them at bay (I've been using spiked barriers and metal fences and clearing them out when they build up on them. Also end up using all my grenades and molotovs after 5 minutes. I've died pretty much each time, rather than the digger explode. Is there a decent solution for the Mortar Wanderers too?
Go and attack them while they spawn then make your way back for the stragglers.
Re: Chapter 19
I also struggled badly on ammo, but FWIW I found if you keep roughly behind the big rock, the explosives and machine guns all aim at the rock, which means they hit the wanderers running for the corridor, and the explosives deflect and hurt the wanderers, too. I didn't earn a lot of KP but they honestly destroyed most of the wanderer/bomb output themselves.

So is there a list of all the tapes in this game?
I find it pretty cool that there are so many and they're well hidden, every time someone posts about the tapes they've found there's always something new in the list that you didn't even realize was in the game
here's mine so far, still got a good chunk of the maps to explore

It was brutal but you have to prepare. If you dont have a heavy machine gun turret from Afghanistan, you are going to have a really hard time. What the hell at the 15 minute siege to retrieveSahalanthropus?
Every time I start to really get into playing the game it does something utterly stupid like this to kill my mood.

Been for a quick explore to the North East of map 1 (Why aye man, flower etc) and came away with loads of resources from exploring and backstabbing a lot of the mobs around transporter 10. Also Composite Bow, Heavy Machine gun, heavy plate vest and some other stuff. Place is a gold mine.
Since the Heavy machine gun is a gadget do you need to craft ammo for it as well, or is it just like the ones you see out in the open?
I totally agree on cheaping out on the story elements. Better cutscenes and voice acting would have given it more of the AA-AAA game feel but probably wasn't in the budget.I think my biggest complaint with the game is the cheaping out on cut scenes sometimes.
I get that some of the conversation scenes are supposed to be reminiscent of the codec scenes, but for example the scene whereshould have been a cutscene, not a textual conversation. And shortly after that, I would've preferred to seeChris is kidnappedrather than just the aftermath.Seth transforming
That and the AI definitely cheats sometimes. I've yet to encounter a Mortar enemy that didn't suddenly turn around the instant I was in backstab range. Sometimes you can catch them in time, but there was literally no reason for every single one of them to turn around at the last moment like that.
