ah yes, the lakers fanbase is the only one that doesn't overrate their young talent. not one bit.Cause the other fan bases overrate their young talent, knowing damn well they all had an all star vet(s) to propel and skew how the general fans should view them.
I live 7 min away, in Santa Monica.
What young talent? You know who doesn't overrate their young talent, the LA Climper
Lebron better be making those pies:
Someone needs to try and pull a fake Lebron like fake Klay Thompson at another Blaze location lol

bro have I ever talked to you about Dwayne "The Next MJ" Bacon?
I've never seen another fanbase call one of their young players the next KD
Every fan base overrates their young prospects and assets to an extent. Everyone thinks lottery picks carry this automatic value just by being lottery picks, ignoring that history will tell you more lottery picks end up being rotation players or busts than end up being all stars.
Cue the Kings offer...The big issue is he's a restricted FA in an offseason where nobody is getting paid. Cappella can be upset all he wants (much like Smart in Boston) but the Rockets have zero reason to bid against themselves. He's free to go out and find a team to sign him to a 4 year/$100 million offer sheet, but he and his agent knows that ain't happening.
But the Rockets aren't only bidding against themselves, they're bidding against the expected market for him next year. Offer him market value now and maybe he takes it. Lowball him and sure, he takes the qualifying offer and he's theirs either way for the next year but then he goes into next offseason feeling slighted and with a chance to bolt as a UFA with no return. The big issue is he's a restricted FA in an offseason where nobody is getting paid. I was joking but some team will do just to fuck with the Rockets. Max i'd give to Capela would be the Aaron Gordon deal of 84 for 4.I thought of that but the Kings have so many bigs already on their roster...then again it's the Kings.
Tatum is the next TMac/KD hybrid, everyone agrees.Boston fans heard Bil Simmons call Tatum "the next KD" once and ran with that narrative. Smh
BI's ceiling is more akin to Giannis, which has been stated here by me for several months now.
I'm assuming they want the cap space for the next free agency?I'm surpised Mavs didn't go after Capela tbh. I know they got DJ but I just thought maybe Capela would fit more, maybe if he takes a QO they'll go after him next year.
Doesn't Capela want 25mil a year?I'm surpised Mavs didn't go after Capela tbh. I know they got DJ but I just thought maybe Capela would fit more, maybe if he takes a QO they'll go after him next year.
Mavs were smart and basically gave DJ a 23 million dollar tryout. If he performs well i'm sure they'll max him out for 4 years or close to it.I'm surpised Mavs didn't go after Capela tbh. Mavs got Jordan for less than that didn't they?

at least philly fans weren't in here calling him trash for picking another team over theirs :)
No they didn't.Boston fans heard Bil Simmons call Tatum "the next KD" once and ran with that narrative. Smh
No it hasn't.BI's ceiling is more akin to Giannis, which has been stated here by me for several months now.
Us Celtics fans all agree that Tatum is going to be the next KD and we also would not trade him straight up for Kawhi not involving external factors like contracts and external issues. No they didn't.
No it hasn't.
Not everyone has your goldfish memory my man. We remember stuff.
There's only like one Sixers fan here lol. Sixers fans were most certainly bitter on other sites.at least philly fans weren't in here calling him trash for picking another team over theirs :)
