Nah, we have no hints for next week. At this point I think I'm done trying to anticipate it.
It doesn't count because reasonsOctober: Announced and released Ring Fit Adventure, The Stretchers
November: Smash Fighter #4 Terry Bogard released
December: Indie World
January: Pokemon Direct confirms a Sword/Shield expansion pass and PMD remake, Smash Fighter #5 revealed, Cindered Shadows release date given
February: Animal Crossing Direct
March: Indie World
LmaoI'd say wait for Nate or Jeff to say something before giving up hope
There is zero chance that April sees a first party Nintendo game at this point imo and May is starting to look suspect also.
Underrated postWii U is getting about the same amount of new games as the Switch going by current forecasts.
So i just added a wii u, a copy of woolly world, 3d world, and starfox zero to my cart on amazon. Somebody stop me please.
Directs were a mistake.

capitalist organisation needs to be defended for emotional bandwidth or something
If this doesn't affect Jedi Academy launching tomorrow on Switch, I'm good for a few more weeks.
We can acknowledge that Nintendo's slate for 2020 is unusually empty without denying reality and claiming there's been no news since September. The news that Smash was getting a second expansion pass and that Pokemon was shifting to an expansion model were both big pieces of news.
;_; i gotta ration for the quarantine
lets not pretend any of these are big announcements, or the announcements that we would get excited over.
I don't think that's out of the question, given the situation. Announcements for May, June, July, but no news for later this year. The Olympics were just delayed by a year. 1.7 billion currently living their lives under some form of lockdown policy - that'll jump to close to half the planet when India's curfew comes into place.Yeah sure, there was no Direct for a very long time and it will be Mini? Absolutely not.
It already has a the best first half since 2017, and we have no idea what the second half will entail.I'm just going to say what every single person in this thread already knows right now. This is going to be a very bad year for the Switch.
The first year of the Switch was an anomaly and each year since then has just been a slow slide back to normal. Combining all development resources hasn't really changed much because they've directed resources towards mobile and random projects like Labo and Fitness Adventures.
It would be wise to just lower expectations going forward. We're back to normal Nintendo. Big gaps between big first party releases.
If there is no Direct announced by 5pm this thread should be locked it's getting really toxic in here.
Ring Fit was pretty coolI'm just going to say what every single person in this thread already knows right now. This is going to be a very bad year for the Switch.

This makes me feel better.
While everyone else here feels starved, you're going to have a fantastic time. Particularly if you're open-minded enough to appreciate what Star Fox Zero is trying to do.
You are right overall. I'd just add that the 3DS is no longer a thing and their focus is only in the Switch hardware now -- unlike previous gens, so I'd say even a "normal" software drought should be at least a bit better than previous consoles.I'm just going to say what every single person in this thread already knows right now. not the best time to go to a tattoo removal place. tolerate it for a few months at least.
Dont spoil the September direct, shhhh
What a thing for the OP of a Direct Speculation thread to post.Stop expecting news. Nintendo doesn't owe you anything and when the news comes, it comes.
This is strange but people need to remember that there are much more important things going on in the world than Nintendo not giving you what you want.
Yeah. It's like these people WANT Nintendo to continue doing nothing. It's pretty baffling. This is just a company, defending it for not communicating with fans seems ridiculous....honestly I'd say the whole "shut up Nintendo owes you nothing stop being invested you nerds," crowd is making this thread more toxic than it needs to be. They're trying to police this thread for some weird reason and it's getting a bit annoying at this point imo
the last thing that Tsubasa said: "and this was supposed to be my 10th E3 :( at least we can look forward for the Direct "
Oh some of them were huge announcements and a ton of people got excited over them.
Scroll up hohoho.Does anybody now if the journalist who wrote the Venture Beat article is saying anything about this? Can't remember what his account was.
