Great job to RDR2 and God of War! Easily two of the best games this generation.

My PS4 has been getting great use as far as consoles are concerned.

*thumbs up*

Great (although not surprising) news for RDR2.

Grats to Sony, once again. The PS4 keeps selling like crazy, even after 5 years. It's insanity.

So it seems like Soul Calibur did well in the US, unlike Japan and UK (and likely the rest of EU)?
Some pretty impressive positions for some other titles...
Dragon Quest XI has completely disappeared too.

Whoa, Splatoon 2's out of the Switch's monthly top 10 for the first time since it released. I guess I didn't realize how many new games launched in October

Given how well received that Digital Foundy RDR2 comparison was received here, you'd be forgiven for thinking it'd help the XBOX take this month. I'm guessing that the official marketing deal carries way more clout with the broader gaming audience.

AC: Odyssey having strong legs pleases me. The game is just so... overwhelmingly excellent. Of course it benefits from heaps of marketing money and an established brand and all that jazz, but sometimes when developers take a huge risk with a bold and experimental game formula, it blows up their face with sales dropping off sharply after launch.

Not that bad for Soul Calibur. Seems a decent bit better than V did so it should at least break a million

Lol, Digital Foundry comparisons do not move consoles.

The masses do not care about any of that, they just want that new Rockstar, however they can get it.

Wow at Diablo 3 managing to chart. Wasnt expecting that.
Also, Switch's chart starting to look very varied by publishers. I like it.

It's always fascinating to see that Black Ops IIII is the best selling game of the year yet there's barely a thread here about it.

Incredible launches for Black Ops 4 and Red Dead. I expect RDR2 to be the new #1 in November.

Soul Caliber 6 doing MUCH better than I thought it would.

Surprised Far Cry 5 stayed ahead of Spider-Man.

RDR2 doing 3x the original in the US including digital.

RDR2 did more than double the original excluding digital sales in the UK, and yet everyone was freaking out in that thread saying that was a bomb.
