What is interesting to me is the Xbox version of AC:O being ahead in units in the second week in the individual charts. Even though it is a 50/50 ratio for this week, is this due to more software available for PS4 vs Xbox, users waiting for X1X, or AC:O bundles/promotions?

I believe the Xbox Version was sold for cheaper than the PS4 Version after the first week where the PS4 was ahead by the typical ratio if im correct.

Good hold for AC and Odyssey. I have to say my tiny interest in Origins is increasing. I'll play it on my sister's Xbox whenever she finishes it.

Bundles are included in the Chart.
AC: Origins has Xbox One S Bubdles.

Forza 7 in 7th is fitting. GT Sport gets a decent hold. Horizon 3 is insane in the UK, always seems to find a way back into the Top 10.
FH 3 will be the best selling Racing game in 2017 in the UK as a last year release.

Obviously a lot of fans returning for WW2. I think the future stuff had people really check out of the series.

Predicted CoD: WWII would be up big against IW, looks like the return to historical era is working. 57% increase in UK and that's just physical.

Also impressed with how well both Forza games continue to do, expect that to maintain with X1X and holiday bundles.

I was judging by the hype here and on other enthusiast websites, I guess that was a mistake. Also the trailers for CoD didn't even show any gameplay footage but perhaps most people don't mind that. I've not played Digimon, must be someone else

If you are judging hype and sales based on enthusiast website like GAF or ERA, then Persona 5, Nier Automata, and Prey would sold 10 millions, while games like Ghost Recon Wildlands or CoD would sold less than 1 millions.

Heck I feel like Gravity Rush, Yakuza 0, Falcom and Atlus RPG have more discussion here than Ghost Recon Wildlands or any Sports title...

Seems to be a good week overall.

Decent drops for most titles and some increases. The holidays are coming!

AC is one of the main Xbox bundles. The amount of bundles you saw with this, CoD as an extra or Forzas for £199 on HotDealsUK over the weekend was staggering. So it's no surprise AC didn't dip so much in its second week.

I would say that is a fantastic result for WWII. I was thinking it could do +30% over IW but this was impressive. Revenue not jumping as much makes sense as the only worthwhile SKU of IW was the $80 one with MWR.

Hi Bruno,

Since the other image you used has the old gaf logo and all, I wanted to make one that fit in better with the new site and it's colours. I can also replace the logo in the old one if you really like that one as well.

This looks good as hell. Great job.

Some French numbers for AC and Mario in October:

AC:O sold 145k in five days. Higher than Syndicate (95k) and Unity (135k) launch numbers, but lower than AC4 (155k) and 3 (250k).

Odyssey sold 115k. Higher than BotW's (97k) and 3D World's (80k) launch.

No bundles included for either game.

(I apologize if the post looks bad, I'm on mobile)

Are you sure those numbers does not include bundles? What about digital? I don't speak French.

I assume this is retail only?
Very strong numbers for AC: O being up over the 3 years old predecessor with todays ever increasing digital split

So I decided I wanted to go back and look over Switch Software launches.

Zelda:
~70k with a 80k Switch Launch
1 2 Switch:
15k????
Bomberman:
?
Mario Kart 8D:
Higher Launch Week than MK8 on WiiU
ARMS;
12k~?
Splatoon 2
~28k
Mario and Rabbids:
23k
Pokken:
5-10k?
Fire Emblem Warriors:
2-8k?
Mario:
Over 80k

How does everyone think of these launches so far?
I feel bad for Fire Emblem Warriors. It truly deserves better. Somehow 1-2 Switch is still rearing its ugly head at the bottom of the chart.

Thanks. I can just repeat myself. Very impressive.
It seems likely now, that AC: Origins launched bigger than Unity and only behind 3 and 4.
And back in the days, AC 3 and 4 were huge games.

It comes with all those games?!
Yes.
It's a retailer soft-bundle, tho.
No Sony bundle.

I wonder how GT Sport can eventually bear out sales-wise. Any idea how it is doing compared to GT6?

You did a great job, I like it!

Thank you for your help, I was thinking about creating a new banner for the Pal Charts Threads but I didn't have time on top of being a bit lazy haha.

https://ukie.org.uk/news/2017/11/‘call-duty-wwii’-holds-fort-second-week-no1

Activision Blizzard's 'Call of Duty: WWII' retains the No1 spot for the All Formats Chart in its second week since launch. Its second week figure tops 'Fifa 18s' second week, making it the highest selling second week for a title of not only this year, but 2016 as well.

'Fifa 18' does climb one position into No2 this week, pushing Ubisoft's 'Assassin's Creed Origins' in the opposite direction down to No3.

EA's new release 'Need for Speed Payback' debuts in at No4, one place below what its predecessor 'Need for Speed' did back in 2015. Sega have 2 new releases in the top 10 this week with 'Sonic Forces' debuting in at No5 and 'Football Manager 2018' in at No10. Elsewhere in the top 40 we have 2 more new releases in Microsoft's 'Super Lucky's Tale' in at No23 and EA's 'The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs' at No27.
