Hrm... I bought a PS5DE. I don't regret it, but between this and the rollout of the current store, I kind of have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot of time with Astrobot the first day or so.
Nah they want people to buy their new console for now . I mean we most likely see black Friday deals but thats it.

Yeah but say for those who can't afford the PS5 this holiday all over the world, a permanent $199 PS4 with all those cross gen games coming would be amazing.

Ever since I got helldivers on vita and cross save to PS4 I pretty much expected it to be as Sony said: developers choice.
PS2 didn't have PSN to help sell more "digital" copies ;)

Regardint the price: Yeah, Sony should drop the price at least to $249. $199 would be perfect.
I never realized how cheap the PS2 got. They basically gave it away at the end, no surprise it's the best selling console of all time.

PS+ Collection sounds great as well, and wonderfully convenient. Might be tempted to sell off a few physical disks since I wont need them anymore.

Is this something like a Limited run Games? I would buy physical at a later date but I worry if it will be available.
They are going to do whats best for them financially. If they feel that PS4 are going to sell with this price anyway, they wont drop the price. Maybe next year?
