You shut your mouth right this instant!
Now just watch how they destroy animal crossing with the same bullshit.
How do you manage any other game??I kind of fell off Pokemon at X and Y because the games were so bloated, so I am very down for a super streamlined experience. I'm sure they'll get right back to more traditional games after this one, but for me this is a welcome change.
Nah. Gamefreak =/= Nintendo. You guys need to realize Pokemon, while partially owned by Nintendo, is managed by TPCi which does their own thingNow just watch how they destroy animal crossing with the same bullshit.
There are only trainer battles (as far as we know) just like Pokemon Colosseum.
Not on purpose, I just strongly believe that the game is very devoted to being Gen 1.Possibly but the tweet didn't imply that so at this point you're just being cynical?
I know. It gets worse and worse.
Oh, how could i forget
I wanted a real RPG in Kanto in 3D.IDK why some people are mad. This is very clearly not Gen 8 or supposed to represent it. This is a very simple game that's trying to be as Pokemon Go 2 as it can be, while still representing some form of the original RPG series. The core team will have been working on Gen 8 for AT LEAST 3 years by the time it releases, which is fantastic. Right where it should be. That doesn't include the other people who have been missing since before Sun and Moon, who have probably been involved with planning and other things.
This game sounds great for what it is. IDK if it will be able to grab the original Go audience, but we will see.

I don't wan't D/P remakes like this...I bet they have a Hey! spinoff for each gen in between core RPG's from now on.

>looks like pokemon GoIt's the follow-up to USUM, that's a mainline game. It's called Pocket Monsters in Japan because all mainline games are called Pocket Monsters in Japan.
Except those were....good games. The way they are announcing both games at once is very reminiscent of when they announced Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Prime 4 at the same time, practically.
Oh yeah who'd get the silly idea about evolving freaking Eevee?!?
It's only the entire gimmick of the Pokémon after all.
Ehhh, it wouldn't have killed them to do outfits for the evos.im pretty sure the reason the pikachu/eevee you start with can't evolve is due to the customization stuff. Pikachu/Eevee in cute hats and outfits.
you can still catch one and evolve it but those don't get cute hats and outfits.
Yeah, like all the cool and new things about the game...So the state of information we have right now is:
Did I miss anything?
- No online (unclear as to wether this is just in regards to the coop function)
- 151 Pokemon + Alola forms + 1 new pokemon
- No wild battles
- Can't evolve parter pokemon
- Forced motion controls
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Because franchises change.>looks like pokemon Go
>play mostly like pokemon gl with some extra RPg elementa from the main series
>Lacks other more relevant elements from the main series
I really dont see how anyone can un ironically call this a main pokemon series
You'll get your Gen 8 next year lol. In the meanwhile, what harm is there in something like this existing? I honestly think it's a breath of fresh air the series could do with
Judging from the reactions here you wouldn't know itNot on purpose, I just strongly believe that the game is very devoted to being Gen 1.
The point being they anticipated disappointment. People were hyped about Metroid: Samus Returns, but they probably thought some fans would be disappointed that the only Metroid in development is a remake on the 3DS when the Switch was the new hotness.
What if this stuff leaks into gen 8 though? Also I feel like some people would rather this game not exist at all, which is weird to me. I mean you get Pokémon next year either way so what's the issue? You can just not buy this and wait for the actual game in 2019.
2019. They even reiterated that at the event.I wonder if there'll be a more traditional game later on. I'm honestly not one bit interested in Pokémon Go, so this is not doing it for me.
Not when they announce a game in the perfect vein of the main line series is on the work and is out next year.
At least Samus Returns was still a Metroid gameThe way they are announcing both games at once is very reminiscent of when they announced Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Prime 4 at the same time, practically.
