Oh, I was under the impression that some of the legacy moves were moves they never learned in the main series, but I stand corrected. Thanks! :)

Any comment on the rest of the list? 😊
Ok, point-by-point? You bet :)
For the OT to be the Pokémon GO trainer rather than the OT of the destination game. OT ID number/secret ID could either be assigned by Pokémon GO to each account or calculated from the trainer's name using whichever algorithm.
I agree with this. As it seems we're not catching via GO Park, this does seem likely
For the Poké Ball the Pokémon was caught in to transfer over.
Same as above
Less randomization of stats. Ideally Pokémon GO would generate the stats and the Pokémon's nature itself, rather than Home applying a dodgy randomization algorithm to it.
For the stats, all they'd have to is add a hidden Speed IV, plus one bit to all stats to decide if a +1 is added to the GO IV * 2 --- this would prevent all IVs from always being odd (31, 29, 27, etc.).

I mean Let's Go didn't randomise it, only Speed was randomised. Everything else was based on the GO IVs

Lucky Pokémon could be given the Pokérus or a Ribbon, for example.

Fantastic idea

If going forward individual Pokémon keep having individual height/weight values, then that should carry over as well.

Also agreed. I also want to see the heights scale in SWSH

Long shot, but I would love if the real world caught location and date got transferred over and could be seen in the Pokemon's summary in Sword/Shield or Home :)

That'd be a bit more complex. It'd just be easier to say "Caught in GO". When Pokémon transfer up from generations, they often lose their original location caught and just shift to "Kanto", "Johto", "Unova" etc.

For somebody who hasn't played since the B/W generation, what would be the easiest way to transfer my stuff to the current generation? Would it even be worth the hassle?

I'm glad this has come about as I need to trade some of my remaining Gen 4 (Soul Silver and Platinum) teams up to my copy of White 2 and then into the 3DS games.

I was right into it for years but only recently found my DS library again.

Not sure who to focus on, who to leave, who to train in what game, etc.

Is there a recent and concise guide to the Bank/Transporter as far as preparations before you use them go? I remember something regarding the move Defog for example. Certain Pokemon couldn't learn it beyond Platinum? Same with Chansey/Seismic Toss.

I wonder if they will find a way to stop all the hacked Pokemon.... is it even possible at this stage?
