I really hope this is true, at least. I've been sitting on my hands in terms of grabbing a PS5 and I'm not pulling the trigger unless a Persona game is nabbed for exclusivity by Sony. If that never happens, I don't need to bother with the hardware and I can (hopefully) just play on PC.
Imo don't wait. Golden still feels very modern mechanically.
In the past a lot of Atlus "exclusivity" was just by the nature of that being the only platform they wanted to develop for, rather than getting any major benefits from PS (at least as far as we know).
yeah as far as we have heard from others in the past, main Persona was never actually exclusive to PS in terms some kind of deal. It was just at the time how Atlus divied up their titles for whatever reason to platforms they felt the most worth or whatever
I can't for the life of me imagine them going out of their way to release Persona games on every platform under the sun, see those multiplatform releases be huge successes despite being years old, and just…throw away all of that growth by going back to being PS exclusive in the very next release. It just wouldn't make any sense to me.

I think it would only make sense to make this a blend of FES + P3P or just FES, based on them rereleasing P3P three months ago.
Oh in my mind a 'remake' would be P3P + FES, where the FES stuff is 'enhanced' with the female protagonist option.
Yeah that would be the hope. There not being a definitive version of that game has caused a lot of people to be indecisive, and it would be nice to have it all in one place.

i think ps exclusive era is over tbh like they couldve done the whole p5s, soul hackers 2, p3p as exclusives thing but they didn't. p4u was a weird situation but at the very least i think we will be getting ps and pc at the same time if not ps pc xb and maybe switch down the line.

I was thinking that if the P3 Remake was going to be announced soon that they would know by the end of may considering all these events are late may or a bit later (assuming the Playstation showcase is in may like it is rumored to be). But hey maybe you're right
