They won't. They'll studiously scrub all Trump references and go on like nothing happened. Well, the host might offer best wishes in the monologue, but they certainly won't do any comedy bits about it.

I had a friend's father die from covid due to his high risk of having asthma. Other than that he was healthy as hell.

Everyone is pawns for Trump's ego. That's the fucking wild thing. Every one that enables him either thinks they're in a cool kids club or have him on a lease so he doesn't do anything crazy or neglectful, but off he goes.
Willing to bet Trump knew before the debate he had COVID and arrived late hoping he could have given it to Biden in secret at this point.

Yeah, and this thing can travel a fucking distance. Trump knew he had it going into the debate. So he showed up late so he couldn't be tested. Chances that him not shutting up was a deliberate tactic to try and spread it to Biden?

It's both not surprising at all and completely shocking that despite this happening to Trump, conservatives are still acting like covid is no big deal and no safety measures need to be taken.
Well he's likely away from the danger ie republicans and he respects the recommendations .. no sense testing him more often. If he shows symptoms bump it up and test him.
Millions of people are scared about covid.
Maybe it's not a great idea to be like "he has covid. He's gonna die! Tralalala!"
... Which has nothing to do with his ability to survive the virus.
I'm guessing the reasoning has to do with the timing it would take for the virus to show up in a test.
Hopefully a negative tomorrow means he's in the clear?
