Here's a ranking guide that has some solid strategy for getting the just below crown rating. If you follow the plan and still come up short the only things that will help are better speed and more practice.

I know I mentioned it before but I really do think this is a pretty fair ranking dungeon.
The RNG spots are

• Hel's poison spawn since it might rob you of colors
• colors on valk and surtur floors
• getting an 8c board on Slepnir

of those only Slepnir can really screw you out of 17% since you need to kill every floor in one hit to have a chance.

This is much better than a casino or verse 1c fest dungeon. That said I'm not a fan of tying a monster to a ranking reward, or at least this reward bracket. It would have been nicer if Slepnir was the reward for 27% or better and the +777 was the 17% bonus.

Given JP's results I think I'm going to have to better my score by a lot somehow.

Rolled very lightly on MTG, Persona, and KoF so I'm sitting on ~24 and ~20 rolls for my main and alt respectively. Gonna blow it all unless I get Reeche since she seems fun and OP.

Got in the beta but I haven't played MTG since the early 00's so it was a bit too complicated for my idiot old man brain and I couldn't bring myself to play more than a few matches in which I got fuckin decimated.

For me to really play it, it needs to be on my phone. And I need to be able to be mostly free to play. From what I've heard, MTGA is still trying to calibrate how generous they are with packs and cards, which is likely to make or break the system. Magic's actual randomization scheme isn't really all that generous given what one needs for a given deck. However, the secondary market and trading takes a lot of that pressure off, neither of which MTGA has.

I mean, I wouldn't rule it out that they might use it for something else later down the line. Enough of a concern to save at least one more.

I actually skilled a keela up the hardish way (king tans). I'm not sure why I did it but hey I have a hypered Keela to use if I ever want to play Noctis on a 7x6 board. I'd hang on to the extras in the event something else becomes worth it. The gems stack so you're not going to lose much box space.

I bumped my ranking score up to 131500 which at the moment is 11.7%. Thinking this has a better chance of holding than my 129k. Going to wait until after SGF before I burn any more stamina on it though. I'm currently farming up a couple challenge mode stones to see if I can squeeze another roll or two at SGF.

Trying out the ranking dungeon, took a few tries but I got down to 9%. Pretty tough though. Not sure if I'll go for the crown. I used three actives in that run so RNG can help the time to maybe get into <7%.

I'd say you did about average. One big ticket pull (though arguably the worst one), some 6* GFE's and some normal stuff with a couple pieces of trash thrown in.

Tried out blonia today, fun lead and tanky as hell. Nice to have another viable lead.

Got enough stones together for 1 more pull, Cotton, happy about that. Not sure which to make, I have a blue one already. Thinking yellow since I run mostly light teams, or maybe I'll hold off until she is needed somewhere.

Edit: happy some of you got reeche, she is rarely available on my friends list and pairing with my jhoira is one of my favorite teams.

Blonia is a very fun lead. 7-combo is always fun as it keeps things interesting and her tankiness gives some room for error. Just doesn't have the damage spike needed for Annihilation final floors though, usually have to roll back to my Yusuke team for that. I want to try Zela out because her damage spike potential is better than Blonia, but she needs too many green orbs to work.

I'm thinking for my Zela team to run Zela/Tardis/Tardis/Romia/Drake/Zela. Should be able to inherit OdinDra on Tardis and keep the other for TE active every turn. Romia has a ton of built in TE and a good board change but I'd be lacking a void damage absorb, I suppose I could inherit it on Drake but that board change could be nice. The subs are kind of at odds with her 7C nature but I don't really have any good 7C green subs.

I'm kinda scattershot with leads given all the new cards and evos I have. I can put up almost anything. Current favorite is Yu Narukami though. I also like to keep up Nicol Bolas, but from there it's kinda whatever.

Depends on the dungeon or if I'm playing multiplayer or not. My primary "going in blind" team that worked for C6, 7, 8, and 9 was

If I'm playing multiplayer and don't need Hiko I'll use Awoken Vajrayaksa (Mo Ye Equip), and if I need specific utility I swap out Yusuke for whatever the dungeon calls or (time extend, +combos, etc). If I need more RCV Super Evo Baal with Mo Ye Equip gets called in. His boosted RCV is over Ideal's.

Cool. BF activated! I also got Yu and have been looking for something to use him on. I like your 3p dragon rush setup but I can't make it exactly. My BF slot has been Blonia for a while and I don't even play her so let me know if you need me to put Yu in with whatever assist you need if I have it.

Trailo is strong in both awoken and super evo form. Awoken has the better active but I think super evo is the better leader. Both forms pair well with the other which is kind of neat. You can also use her as part of a gravity cheese team but that's becoming more niche these days.

Studge the 3p dragon rush thing isn't insanely consistent (not sure there's a 100% consistent setup without 2 other known players), but it works more often than it doesn't. Multiboost is a big reason it works so well. Just keep in mind you NEED a fujin to kill heradragon. There's just no practical way past her without it in 3p dragon rush IMO. If you play with rando's be prepared to be the last one standing. Losing multiboost is a big hit to HP/RCV too so keep that in mind.

Well, last four rolls were rather lame: Trailo (#3), Vishnu (#3), Antares (new), and Light brave blade 2(#2). So....only five 6* GFE across two packs and three extra rolls--only a 15% hitrate. The only roll that expands my box in any way was Sylvie, mostly because I have been pretty lax at trying to evo cotton #2. Ugh, this game. Trying not to get discouraged, again MTG and Persona were great for me.

Was browsing reddit and saw someone looking for planar friends to pair with Allatu. I have both and hadn't thought about that pairing 7x6 board with dark/fire crosses and +5 seconds with rcv boost. My current test team has 18+ seconds move time. Wow, this team does crazy damage and it's not hard with all that move time. Only issue is having only 33k health right now. I'm sure I can probably get that a bit higher to use for some tougher dungeons.

My alt rolling ameno is the best thing other than blonia from this rem. He is my main farm lead for most content and I run out of friends often lately.

That and my alt having an easy farm lead as well, ed and Vraska are his other 2 leads I use. A mindless farm lead is very welcome.

Panera herself isn't too bad. Her dungeon is a giant pain in the ass and it's too time consuming to effectively farm the 50+ skillups.
Floor 1: Devil cats, mass attack, defense break, guard break all work fine to get out of here quickly
Floor 2: RBG Cat Dragon, just make sure to FUA the red one and heal up from the green one
Floor 3: Thanatos is taaaaaaaanky. Also takes 1/2 damage from balanced types. Kill before the countdown ends. Ideally save the locked skyfall for the next floor too.
Floor 4: Fuu dumps clouds and roulettes constantly. if you have over 51k HP you can play with her or just bring cloud resist and kill her. the locked skyfall from Thanatos means her roulette doesn't do anything.
Floor 5: Jester Dragon. Not actually all that bad UNLESS it tries to spawn a bomb orb on something already locked. Otherwise just kill it.
Floor 6: Loki's swap is annoying but if you have a tanky team you can just stall it out. a delay works too. much more annoying in multiplayer.
Floor 7: Durga has a 5 million damage absorb and resolve. she's killable via damage control but don't trip her resolve unless your lead has a bind clear active. Otherwise just stall her out and kill when the absorb drops.
Floor 8: Panera plays games. If you 10c+ on her combo checks she rewards you, otherwise she punishes you. Once her 99% shield and damage void pass you can chip her below resolve or burst and kill with FUA if you brought devil killers with you.

Not a super hard dungeon but it's a pain to run efficiently and certainly not worth the time to farm. I'd stockpile rainbopys from S-ranks and rewards if you want to make her skill something you can use.

Sadly not inheritable. I'm interested in skilling one up on my alt so it has a usable Fujin active (Panera's a better sub than Borma especially due to coop boost). I've seen a build on reddit that could work. I just need to confirm I have the "b" team on my alt.

Sadly not inheritable. I'm interested in skilling one up on my alt so it has a usable Fujin active (Panera's a better sub than Borma especially due to coop boost). I've seen a build on reddit that could work. I just need to confirm I have the "b" team on my alt.
