Honestly, there's a lot of fear mongering going on about statehood. I went to school there as a kid and I remember teachers telling us that if PR became a state, it would be stripped of its language and culture.
Two reasonsLOL so why were there some on the left who hate her that they would rally behind whatshisface who was on her right?
Yes, you need 50+1 in both the House/Senate, fillibuster doesn't apply.
Why do people have to tip-toe around others being easily misinformed and/or stupid? If you believe in a position, it is your responsibility to make sure what you believe in to be factual. People stating that Pelosi was a centrist, could have easily found the information they needed to see that their beliefs were incorrect. There were people hating on her that couldn't even formulate why they held those feelings.Certain posters? Its likely majority of the posters who hate on Pelosi just fall for disinformation campaigns.
If you guys are going to insinuate all the time, you should just be more direct, kind of annoying.
That's only for white people, silly.yep, funny how fast the founding fathers forgot about that "no taxation with representation
thing"

lol what a center-right shill /s
(cant wait for two years of "House passes progressive legislation, goes nowhere in the senate")
And then 95% of that stuff they passed in the House magically disappears once Democrats take the Senate/WH
