They're one exquisite movie, each an inextricable and necessary part of a whole. Please stop fighting. :(
I think OP should respond about the wedding retcon. No one seems to know what they're talking about.
That's funny since Kill Bill Vol 1 is my least favorite of his, I still think it's a solid movie though.Honestly....the second Kill Bill is the only Tarantino movie I don't like.
I mean, how is that a retcon?I think they mean that it wasn't the real wedding instead it was a wedding rehearsal.
Bill learning the "super duper ultra death move" from some crazy old man
Maybe she's Jake KiddoSo the bride is a loser who didn't get to kill Bill? That's not my Beatrix Kiddo
They didn't, we just didn't see the whole thing until vol 2.
I swear they changed how exactly the wedding happened in 2.
Seems I'm in the minority on this lol. Sorry but Kill Bill 2 sucked. It was nothing but pure exposition and talking. Its like they sucked all the story explanation out of the first film and then made a whole movie out of nothing but exposition.
And the final fight sucked.
Kill Bill 1 all day, I have no desire to ever watch the sequel again.
i don't perceive them as separate movies. didn't see either til after both were out. can't relate to hating on either half of the film at all, tho.
That would be because your OP reads like a film critique from a teenager who was texting through the whole movie. Try again.Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds are amazing movies, so no, I think Quentin Tarantino movies are for me, thanks.
Y'all getting so salty haha.
The worst part was Uma getting taken out by some idiot with a gun. After the insane shit she pulled off in 1, this is how she almost dies? Lol
OT but my least fav tarantino movie is actually inglorious bastard because of the lack of payoff, history retcon and some of the actor choices (you cast Eli Roth as a guy nicknamed the Bear? you kidding me? I expected some nicknamed 'The Bear' to look like a WWE wrestler. Not a schmuck that go to gym regularly). That's funny since Kill Bill Vol 1 is my least favorite of his, I still think it's a solid movie though.
Volume 2 is better but has a lot more exposition than 1 lpl
