It was probably planned as a multi release until a couple of months ago. At least that what the rumors said, so Sony must have secured exclusivity for launch.
Yeah but Aspyr are not going to develop a AAA remake of KOTOR.

As its "at launch". It's possible Sony is publishing it on PS for distribution purposes but Aspyr will publish it on PC. MS may have to wait. Maybe it's some sort of weird deal.
