lol I can't keep mixing the name up. Probably because this feels like MKX 2, "we held all the weapons characters for this one" to me.
Evo is August 2-4, and MK11 releases April 23rd.They're dodging MKX for a Super SFV launch at EVO, most likely. AE was announced about a 100 days before it launched, which would sync with a post-MKX reveal.
The "announce and release within 3-4 months" thing is becoming a big industry trend. It's not just MKX though. Internally Capcom had RE in January, and then DMC in March. They had big marketing campaigns for both games. With MKX an April release shortly after DMC, waiting on a "SUPER" announcement makes sense.Jesus Christ, guys...
So now the existence of MK 11 is the thing keeping capcom from releasing info? Listen to yourselves. And the best case scenario is info dropping in August all of a sudden? A year after the actual release of new characters and not some jank ass Evil Ryu?
So nice of capcom to stall out for a year while they "save" the hype by avoiding other fighting games.
Seeing the Street Fighter League and ESPN/University announcements, Uniqlo deal and the datamining stuff (added placeholders for the next 5 characters with S4 update+11 Extra Battle costumes in the recent updates, that x4 weeks means until at least February or so), the Capcom Fighting guy saying there's big stuff coming, Capcom eSports team growing, and several Capcom Japan announcements saying they have an ambitious long term eSports plan, SFV arcade release + SFV related Japanese activities to grow the community, recent merge of this division with the MH one so the main MH guy (CEO's son) bringing more talent/budget/easier greenlights to the division, Ono's recent words and the fighting games CM job offering at Linkedin for me sound as they plan to continue supporting the game as usual or even more.At this point I think they're stalling because they probably changed plans and SFV support is coming to an end sooner than they previously planned. Whatever they deliver next is probably it for SFV as far as characters go, IMO. I imagine in 2020 we'll just be getting costume DLC and SFV's final CPT season.
Different Costumes and Stages selection for Survival Mode, I can mod my game but I'd like an easier way to do it, like in Story mode. It gets boring fast when you want to unlock Extra Battle Costume colors...Talking about an hypothetical SSFV, what would you include on it?
True, I would be cool to do that in Survival. It would make more fun to play the mode while also would help them to sell costumes, stages and colors.Different Costumes and Stages selection for Survival Mode, I can mod my game but I'd like an easier way to do it, like in Story mode. When you play offline modes in DOA6, characters can wear any costumes, even the DLC you don't own, that's a nice feature and can even boost sales as people see the costumes in action.
There are some players I see play Ranked a whole lot, for almost 2 years now, and yet their rank hasn't changed. Sometimes I see them rank up, and then the next time I see them, they're back down. They play the same as they ever did, with seemingly no self-reflection as to how they're approaching things.
I guarantee that those players never look at their replays, and never properly analyze their decisions in them.

I only see two plausible options:
1. Capcom is winding down on SFV development and we'll be lucky to get another character or two.
2. The rest of a full-fledged season 4 is going to be released at once as part of a Super (or whatever you want to call it) update later this year.

I assume you're talking about the annoying screaming woman who doesn't stop screaming in the NCR. She also was in FR. I think she's Cool Kid girlfrind or wife since I think she sits next to him and when he plays she goes to the front line. I'm considering to take a flight to the USA just to tell her to shut the fuck up.I don't understand how a human being can be so loud, so effortlessly.

Imagine having your wife scream at the other guy the entire time you play him and you still lose. I wonder if CoolKid actually likes this or he just puts up with it.

All three of y'all would have a heart attack at a basketball game.
You're right, the two situations you're comparing are exactly the same.
It's weird that you don't see them as exactly the same. People are playing games with money on the line, but y'all acting like everybody needs to be sitting with their hands folded in their lap like it's the opera or some shit.

It wasn't that long ago that everyone got mad at the CORN guys and Caba for doing the exact same thing.
Hmm, I guess whatever subset of the population is made of people who think the game of Street Fighter V is better for everyone when there isn't a peanut gallery distracting the players by yelling at them, and also people who don't realize that every single competitive event regardless of size or scope or tone should have the exact same rules. I tried explaining this to the ref that banned me from my niece's ringette game for holding a sign with a picture showing one of the players getting beaten to death with a ringette stick, but he wouldn't listen to me when I explained that sort of thing happens at Wrestlemania events all the time.
Whatever that uptight subset is, they clearly aren't the TOs of any major tournament. Ain't nobody escorting Joy or Caba out of the building when they start screaming. Everybody there accepts it as part of the game. And it always has been. From the arcades, to locals, to nationals.

It's pretty crazy how close folks can get in basketball compared to other sports.
Yup love the energy in the FGC events and hopes it never leaves. I don't care who get mad about it.Whatever that uptight subset is, they clearly aren't the TOs of any major tournament. I was a huge Miller fan back then. That was a great moment.Hell yeah. At every level too. From street to pro. Fan interactions can swing a basketball game. The most famous is when Reggie Miller popped his V-Trigger and lit the Knicks up for 25 points in the 4th quarter because Spike Lee wouldn't shut the fuck up courtside. Reggie giving Spike the choke sign even. That shit is hype.
I'm totally fine with people in the audience cheering or screaming, it's cool to have some audience sound during the stream specially in key moments like at the end of a round or in epic moments. The problem is when one of them screams so loud that sounds louder than the game characters and commentators and do it constantly until it becomes annoying. Hell, she screams so loud that I listen her from Europe even if I shut down Twitch xDAll three of y'all would have a heart attack at a basketball game.
Some great SF action today, gonna suck when it gets overshadowed tomorrow when Capcom doesn't announce anything.
