I'm thinking that if effort has gone into making a PC port, an X enhanced patch is almost a certainty.
It's not unheard of. Look at mass effect 1.
But I think MS probably agreed to it. So I will guess a X patch is coming too.
Mass Effect 1 is a unique case. We know EA and Microsoft had to come to an arrangement for that trilogy after Bioware was purchased. Whatever deal MS originally had was likely changed through that.
I remember Patcher once saying, at least in that era, that the deals Microsoft was signing for titles like ME was publishing rights in perpetuity.

Why not both ? If there's a PC version, an X patch seems very likely to me.

It's a singleplayer focused game and it's amazing.
Never tried the MP mode. That wasn't the focus of the game.
Story is fun but not deep in any way. It's a game built around stylishly traversing the environment, racking up high scores, and keeping your combo meter up.
The story and writing can be too cheesy. The gameplay is top notch though. It has some of the most satisfying and fun traversal mechanics and like Ratchet&Clank, it has some crazy and creative weapons.
I loved this game. The skill cap on this thing was off the charts - I feel like I was just barely playing the game compared to some videos out there.
Why would it? I think people kind of vastly overestimate the amount of people taking advantage of Play Anywhere. It's a nice bonus, but not anything that would really affect much.
Play anywhere would mean it's coming to gamepass in PC (if it's already in gamepass in Xbox).
Yeah, even that is pushing it for a 3 and a half year old game but I'm willing to pay it.

It's more than likely gonna be $20 with all the DLC. The game is $10 at almost every retail.

I'd love Insomniac to release a sequel, multiplatform would be great, but Sony has them contracted for *multiple* games, not just the first Spider-Man.

I'm guessing that user would like it free if it were Play Anywhere and they already owned the Xbox version? Or maybe they just like Xbox cheevos?
If I had to guess, Win10 store version means that it's probably also getting an X1X update +Play Anywhere and that's what they're really banking for.
If it's a play anywhere title you can play the game for free on your pc if you already own the Xbox version. Come on, you understand that. ;)
They should have released it on PS4 as well. Insomniac's main audience is on PS4. The game would sell great on PS4
blame Sony for that, without their refusal i'm fairly sure it would end up being a ps4 exclusive instead
