Any tips on this? For example, an ideal camera angle?
I played around with it for a bit and there's some stuff, but nothing that seems fully foolproof:
- The biggest thing seems to be the girl on the right saying "Hey", this is 100% timed to the proper jump timing but if you're depending solely on that and not internalizing the rhythm you'll probably miss after 50 anyway.
- The dust also seems to help, but only up to a point. I doubt it's possible to use it for the fastest speed.
- The most comfortable camera angle for me was looking at one of the girls from the back and then pulling the camera up a bit.
- The Joycons seem to rumble to the rhythmn too but since Mario landing also causes vibration it's not a great method.
- I didn't get to try this, but I suspect that doing the mini-game with whatever tiny difference handheld mode or a pro controller make in terms of lag might help as well.
- Some may find it helpful to swap between B and A each jump. I did better sticking to one.
In the end what worked for me was getting up to 40 using the Heys and then from there using a tic-toc button press pattern.
