Last Terminator I saw was the one with Bale, how the fuck does Terminator age?
Also, "he's the most lethal Terminator ever created." *cringe*
Just doing another fancier terminator plotline seems lame especially after it looks like its just the same kind of Terminator from T3 but a guy this time.
You do see him conjoin with his separate endoskeleton in this trailer, it's quick but it happens. You know, it is odd that they didn't show what makes him unique this trailer, now that you mention it. I guess they assume everyone has seen the previous trailers that show what he can do at this point.

"Living tissue over metal endoskeleton" was first said all the way in terminator 2.Last Terminator I saw was the one with Bale, how the fuck does Terminator age?
Huh, I thought it would be more likely just to decay and fall off.The flesh and skin around it ages, the metal skeleton stays the same (thought I'd assume like all machines even that would wear down/need maintenance)

Still looks tacky as fuck. Not the actual artwork on the poster, because that's awesome. Just the fake fold creases. It's just a peeve of mine in modern "retro poster" art in general. There's been other "retro style" posters I've rolled many eyes at when I've seen they've drawn in the tacky fold marks. Hell, I think some of the custom art for Scream Factory releases have the creases on the cover artwork.i guess it's supposed to be a free poster from a video release because of the vhs in the corner
How? It was Terminator 2 but worse in every way. The very last scene was good but that was it. If any of these movies tried something different it's GenesysI don't care what anyone says Terminator 3 tried to do something different at least , and Terminator Salvation should've been the Terminator movie I always wished for and wasn't .... Please let this be good
I hope this film just ignores the sequels and is simply a focused attempt at making a solid actio movie. Reserve most of the fan service to just the casting,
It probably won't but I'd love to be wrong.
Yep!
YupThere's just way too much going on. Too much CG. Too many Terminator gimmicks. Too much weightless fighting.
There's no grit or dread to anything on display there. The villain or whatever might as well be from the MCU. There's nothing menacing about it.
The movie has way too much "Hollywood lighting" going on; the way it's shot gives it so much fucking gloss and sheen.
It's just big budget schlock when a true Terminator film that goes "back to formula" needs to be low key, dark, scaled back, with an almost indie movie feel to it.
It is so, so disappointing that they went this route.
Starting to think this movie might be the best in the series by far.

The trailers have been terrible. I think that is the primary reason. It feels like there's zero hype for this film and it's out in a few days. :(
To be fair The Sarah Connor Chronicles from what I remember are arguably the second best thing to come out of the franchise and IMO come close to beating out T2 for me too.No, this one does ignore the sequels. It's a direct sequel to T1 and T2 ignoring everything else:
