Because the shitstorm would be huge, and players would demand to nerf the raid. And it's totally nonsense. But most of the players, who want matchmaking, did not try out the raid. So they have no idea how difficult it is.
Few days before, we asked few guys on Facebook if they want to help us. Somehow they couldn't join us. After we asked what GS they got, they were around 460...
It's embarrassing that people think they would do the raid without hittin max level and without any decent build.
I fully agree with Massive to not include a matchmaking system.
I hadn't thought about the raid being nerfed/changed. That's a really good point. It would likely lead to more dissatisfaction/complaining about the raid tbh. You can call it gatekeeping in a way but the dev decided to try and limit peoples bad exposure to the raid. Because if 80% of the playerbase is trying to matchmake for something that is largely impossible in matchmaking they will be unhappy about it and the raid won't really be judged fairly.
And yes, they did conciously make the decision that its better to have someone not play the raid because they don't want to LFG vs have them have a shitty MM experience.
I kept seeing the batteries, thinking, based on the icon the come with (at least on my game), that they were all for the same skill. I've deconstructed so many and now need to re-farm them for every skill but one (serve me right for not reading the description)l...But yeah, it's really nice (probably not the best fix to the overall problem) to not have these random parts of builds go completely unused.Really don't get the idea of them aux batteries, as if skill builds weren't in a bad place as it was and dps being king, you can now dps and have decent skills! I've got acouple of batteries for each mod except the shield now and most over 1000sp points, 1 sp mod and a roll on my backpack has put me at almost 2k on any skill I want to use.
Chem launcher is abit of a trade off with it only having 2 mod slots but for the turret, seekers etc they're brilliant. Builds in a pretty decent place with 300k armour, 90k health, UF, DTE in most places etc etc, 2k skill power to boot, pretty much like almost everyone else what lovely diversity.
I think it's after the main ones so prioritize them over the side missions. So I finally got to 30. When/how do the specialist open? I am working through the side missions. I have some main ones left also.

The Discord link is in the first post of the thread bud.Yooooooo got booted from the PC ERA clan Rogue Ones! Clan message said to click on a google docs link in the discord but there isn't any place to find the discord link?
Can I get an invite back in? Ingame name is 'Slack.Attack'

Nope the devs are leaving the raid exactly as it is.I've been too busy to play the last week and a half. Have they said anything about adjusting the raid at all, or are they happy with how hard it is?

Must admit I have put the game down for a bit until raid, loot and pvp is sorted.

I believe it all depends who joins whos group. I could be wrong here but that is always how it seemed to me. When some way higher people joined my group, they would just shred through enemies. When I attempted to join people who were higher than me, I had some issues. So a friend has finally gotten the game and wantx to team up, im at level 30 and his only level 4, how does the game deal with mismatching levels like this, will my friends level 4 character be downed in 1 shot or will i end up just melting the enemies??. Not sure its its best to play like this or for me to create a new character so its balanced for both of us, only issue with that is my new character will get left behind as ill only be using that when playing with him??
Oh no...what I might have done...I have no idea one way or the other.Massive logic, make a skill battery for any skill look like a drone mod. Suppose a battery symbol would've been too confusing :)

Same for me. I'm not spending 5 hours on a raid where there is little hope that we'll even finish to begin with. Since reaching WT5 I've shelved the game.Well, I hope they don't focus on raids for future content. 'Cause it sounds like I won't ever be doing it, then. Sounds too hard for me to enjoy. Guess I'll keep working on my nemesis the next couple of weeks and kind of be done for now.
So for the end game is it best to ignore the DMG, RPM and MAG numbers and just go by the score number?
Im still trying to figure out if its best to try and get a set of 3 equipment type to get the bonuses or just ignore that and only equip gear that with the highest score??

Even GS does not play a huge role, you can ignore any stats before you hit 500 or around. So for the end game is it best to ignore the DMG, RPM and MAG numbers and just go by the score number?

How do you guys manage mods? I have so many, green, blue. yellow. All different levels also. My stash is now full with yellow items too.
Just equip ur highest GS items until u are around 480. When u reach 480, keep ur eyes out on high attribute rolls and also keep gear with talents u would like to use in the future for recalibration. I usually take a quick look at these tables to check the attribute rolls. So for the end game is it best to ignore the DMG, RPM and MAG numbers and just go by the score number?

Dude i was looking for this document. Where did you get itJust equip ur highest GS items until u are around 480. I would btw prioritize attribute rolls first, then talents and at last the right brand.
Ignore any mods that aren't yellow. Mods are really pointless until you hit endgame
Also gotta look for those 5% weapon damage red mods. Just found one yesterday.Yet level 18/19 blue mods are some of the best in the game lol

No, it's not about equiping a gear set. It's about looking at a specific gear piece which u have, lets say, a True Patriot mask and compare the attributes to the max possible attributes in the table. If u have 20% Damage to Elites attribute on ur mask, looking at the table u would know it's a low roll because the max roll is 55% so u could safely dismantle them.I am looking at this and trying to understand/compare to what I have right now...am I understanding right let's say for my True Patriot mask,if I have the whole set equipped, and if the mask is 500,I should have 30,500 health, etc etc for the other pieces...?

Damn right. Helps no end especially when they don't add to your pie chart of offensive attributes for the likes of Compensated (less than 3 offensive attributes).
Welcome to The Division :D
These numbers are a real eye opener. Are these numbers actually possible still, or are they from lower gear score/world tiers or something? I thought I was rolling with near perfect rolls, having farmed a shit ton of activites/played all content in the game minus the raid at World Tier 5 multiple times and have been really meticulous in looking for great rolls...

-Mask, I have 38% DTE but apparently it can go up to 55%. My stat is considered "pretty good" but having looked at thousands of masks, I haven't seen anything higher than 38%. This is shocking to me.
-Chest, I have 15% headshot damage, but apparently it can go up to 28%. My stat is just considered "above average" but I have not seen anything higher.
- Holster, I have 566 skill power, but apparently it can go up to 820. Again, I have "above average."
- Kneepads, I have 11.5% armore rolled. "Very good" but still, again, never seen anything higher.
- Realistically speaking the max rolls in most cases (i.e. items with more than one roll) might as well be unachievable - so many things need to roll perfectly to even allow a max roll to be rolled that it's unrealistic to expect to ever find a piece with that roll on it. The "very good" rolls are already on the order of seeing them on 1 out of 100+ pieces and the max ones are way beyond that. If you're thinking about optimized builds I would assume you can eventually find stats near the "very good". Don't plan to find things near max roll unless you're talking about slots with a single attribute roll like some holsters and knee pads.
- Similarly, the absolute minimum possible rolls in the table require maximum native armor rolls and as many common talents as possible.. also very unlikely to find. Most of the lowest rolls you will see will be roughly double than what's listed as absolute minimum in the tables
- On the topic of rarity of max rolls I have the following napkin math for finding a 50%+ DTE roll on masks. First you need a gear set mask, maybe 10% of mask drops on a good day. From there you need native armor to roll in the bottom 10% of its range (10% of drops). From there since luckily there's only two attributes you just need the DTE roll to be in the top 5% of its range (5% of drops). Overall that's 0.05% of mask drops or 1 in 2,000 mask drops to find 50%+ dte. Add a third attribute like on chests and you're looking at 1 in 10,000+ chests on average to get one with a near max possible roll.
43% Damage to Elite mask
14.5% Weapon Damage vest
22.5% Headshot Damage vest
734 Skill Power Holster
24% Cooldown Reduction Holster
12% Weapon Damage Gloves
Thanks for this. I'm a little lower than you in looted items (more like 3,500), but probably more because of the number of items dropped from enemies that I just examine and leave or examine and deconstruct. Those are solid pieces you've come across! From the guy who made the tables:
Here are some screens of the highest rolls I've found so far. According to the Uplay stats I've looted 4187 items so far.
These are the best, I think, talents that require a configuration that a 3/7/7 breakdown allows. They mostly allow you to get the damage back that you'd be giving up by not having reds (or improve healing), while still stacking up on health/armor and a bit of skill support.I built a 3/7/7 build, and honestly it feels like a downgrade over just stacking cooldown reduction and +10% DtE talents. What skills do people use in 3/7/7? Feels like I'm doing something wrong.
- On The Ropes (7 or more utility) Weapon damage is increased by 25% while all skills are on cooldown.
- Unstoppable Force (7 or more defensive) Killing an enemy grants 2% weapon damage for every 25,000 max armor.
- Compensated (3 or less offensive) Weapon damage is increased by 15% when your critical hit chance is below 20%.
- Patience (6 or more defensive) After being in cover for 5 seconds, armor repairs by 5% every 1 second.
I think most people use pulse + spotter and chem launcher heal (if I'm not mistaken, if even one charge is on cooldown its proc'd). If I'm not mistaken, those are basically always on cooldown, so On The Ropes is basically always active.Above is what I currently got + spotter(+damage on pulsed targets). It's 'on the ropes' that's confusing me. Taking quick skills to trigger 'on the ropes' just doesn't seem worth it. My previous build had flame turret on a 13 second cooldown and basically infinite heal launcher. But those don't mesh with 3/7/7. What skills make 'on the ropes' worth it?
