There's a difference between "asshole" and "rapist"They knew what an asshole this guy was before they signed him. They don't care.

He's rich so he'll probably get it buried regardless of whether it's true or not.

What language is that even written in?Emails allegedly sent from Brown to his accuser
The absolute weirdest part of all of this is OJ Simpson, who 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% got away with murder, is just posting twitter videos reacting to this shit
Good for him. The Patriots should still release him. It's not a good look for the team. It's probably bad for the locker room. From a football perspective they don't need him. He's rich so he'll probably get it buried regardless of whether it's true or not.

NFL fans on twitter blindly defending their players? You don't say.I'm already seeing Patriots Twitter and "Why did she wait until now to say anything" Twitter intersecting
Because this is a civil lawsuit (no criminal charges needed and lower burden of proof to prevail,) there is diversity between the parties (i.e. they live in different jurisdictions,) and the amount in controversy exceeds $75,000.
While all accusations like this deserve to be take seriously, there a whiff of...something off about this case. Especially given the timing of all of this. I think people should refrain from calling to basically end his career without first letting substantial evidence be presented first. Screenshots of emails and texts isn't substantial evidence btw.
Sadly, he's probably going to be cut anyway once this hits the news cycle tomorrow.
Yeah it's hard to disagree with any of that. Makes you wonder why they even signed him to begin with.Good for him. The Patriots should still release him. It's not a good look for the team. It's probably bad for the locker room. From a football perspective they don't need him.

Emails almost read as him mocking her for claiming he ejaculated on her back.
Although it's not easy to read broken English like that.
Sure but with how ridiculous he was acting leading to getting ran out of Pittsburgh and cut from the Raiders you have to wonder why the Pats went after him so quickly.I think there's a major difference between being a social media diva and self-centered ass, and being an accused rapist.

kinda fits their vibe

I like to hold the Patriots to a higher standard than other teams.People saying cut him immediately obviously didn't watch what happened in Kansas City last season.

Then you're in the wrong business brother. Like I'm a huge Patriots fan but they ain't better than anyone else.I like to hold the Patriots to a higher standard than other teams.

He wanted to go to the Patriots in the first place, but the Steelers didn't want to trade him to a division rival. People have been theorizing that his antics in Oakland/LV were manufactured to force them to release him so he could be picked up by New England
