Better word of mouth + better specific game bundles and upcoming exclusives probably worked in Sony favor.
They keep proving me wrong in terms of ps4 sales

Definitely not. But we are British.
Also it's not at a point where the reductions are worth trampling for. Most items are maybe £50 off or slightly better than regular sales, most things like TVs that are reduced are old or lower end models.
Where were they 250€? I picked a base Pro up for 284€ up from Media Markt and those were flying off the shelves. The ones with a game packed in weren't really reduced and there was a ton sitting there.

Do you mean £329? I have never seen a Pro bundle for under £299, either way great price.
In my country vanilla Pro is cheaper than PS4 Slim 1TB GTS or Tekken bundle.
The XO doesn't appear to be that healthy in the UK - obviously the XOX will improve that but really feels like just a shot of adrenaline. BF sales in the UK arent anything special from what I've seen, just an excuse to shift stuff that's taking up room...

Seems more a mispriced set of bundles to drive website views as loads got cancelled. No doubt a few got them but I bet stock was low...

You can not say MS did not give it their best shot this year, £169 for an Xbox S with 2 games is an amazing price. My thought is the discounted PS4 bundles added to the 2018 line-up Spiderman, God of War is driving sales. Plus the Xbox X being £450 while the Ps4 Pro is £299 with games is adding to the Playstation's lead.
Great to see PSVR selling well, but I'm not totally surprised, as it was an absolute steal at £249.
Going all in at Paris Games Week was a stroke of genius. That, together with damn good deals (good PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro and PSVR deals) ..... huge!

There's been some really good deals on the ps4, 3 games with some of them for 199.

The X? What discounts were there? I saw one £30 off offer. It basically was a non entity on BF discounts.
Cheaper price + more power - kinect and other controversy/s bullshit was what mattered, not just '1080p'. You can't just simplify it like that. But you know that, I'm sure.
Yeah a few unofficial bundles. That's not really a big discount in my book. Good deal for those actively looking for one but was never going to compete with the crazy reductions elsewhere.
Amazon UK are currently doing Xbox X with AC Origins and Forza 7 for £450.

Same here man. So good to see PSVR doing good in UK. Hope same is the case in US.
I wouldn't be so sure about it. Expect big sales number like was a 'common' launch from X it's a bit too much optimistic. But we will see.
