The Buttfumble is timeless, and I say this as a *sighs* Jets fan.

Savage beating The Million Dollar Man and winning the title is another.

Leeds United getting relegated yesterday after how the fans treated my boy Wes McKinney after he was subbed off the pitch. Hope they never get a new owner and the current board bottles it all the way down to non-league. Enjoy the championship you a-holes.

I watch that same Dallas Mavericks team in 2011 play the Lakers that year. That was a significantly more dominant performance, and it always stuck with me watching them just throttle the Lakers in the last game of that series. The 3's were just raining and the drive and kick from Barea was eating the Lakers alive. And the Lakers were a good time that year coached by Jackson.

The league had NO answer for that Dallas team that year. I still don't think that squad gets the credit it deserved. It was incredible.

93:20 Aguero scoring the winner.
Absolutely this. I was watching it live and had such a sinking feeling. We were down 1-2 at 90 minutes, knowing anything other than a win in the game against QPR (a team that we should have confidently been beating) would mean missing out on our first league win in 44 years to our local rivals Manchester United. United had finished their final game at the top of the league, there were split screens of United fans in the stands anxiously waiting to hear what was happening, and City score two goals in extra time. The incredible high of pulling it back from the brink combined with seeing the utter disappointment as United fans, convinced they're about to get their 20th league win, realise that City have won was like nothing else. I've been a City fan all my life, I watched them at Maine Road as a boy, saw them relegated down to Division 2, grew up dreading derby games and having United dominate for years, that moment was like a tidal wave of relief for me and an incredible moment in the sport. You couldn't have scripted it better. City would go on to dominate in the years to come, but until that moment it was still "typical City" and there was a real sense it just wasn't going to happen for us.

Here's a video of the last 10 minutes of the game, but I've skipped ahead to a minute or so before the goal for those who don't care about the buildup:

Man, that Gretzky trade was something else. Brett Hull and Gretzky on the same team, the jersey was sold out for months, and he played under 30 games for us and bolted for New York. That loss to Detroit haunted me for years. When Gretzky bolted, it left a real sour taste, but not as bad as Hull leaving and raising the Cup with both Dallas and Detroit.

Most of my favorite moments have already been posted, so I'll post a disc golf moment most of you probably haven't seen.

Context: Middle of the pandemic, not long after the vaccines were released and local governments started letting outdoor events, but major sports were still playing in empty stadiums and arenas. James Conrad is one stroke back of 5x World Champ Paul McBeth on hole 18. This shot is to force a playoff. This moment was huge for the sport of disc golf, I still catch feelings when I watch it.

2010. Seahawks win the division with a 7-9 record. Everyone predicts we're going to get run out of our own building by the Saints, and we end up beating them with one of the GOAT runs in NFL history to finish it off. AKA: the Beast Quake.

Richard Sherman tips a pass that would've sent the 49ers to the Super Bowl, it gets intercepted, and it leads to our first SB win.

This just takes me back to my childhood. Shawn Kemp was my favorite non-Jordan player growing up because of his hellacious dunks like this one.

San Jose Sharks vs Las Vegas Golden Knights in Game 7 of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Sharks were down 3-1 in the series, and then pushed back to win Game 5 and 6 to force a Game 7. In Game 7, they were down 3-0 with about 10 minutes left in the game when this happened and called by Randy Hahn:

EXTENDED POWER PLAY: Game-Changing Power Play SPARKS SHARKS EXPLOSIVE Comeback

A 5-minute Major Penalty from Cody Eakin to Joe Pavelski forces the Sharks to come out swimming for the Hungry Knights!! And they made them pay for what they...

This is my favorite in recent memory. One of the best comebacks in a single period ever (and series altogether).

Couple of my other all time favorites:
