Maybe we can get a cross-over going.Sony is gonna be sticking to the Spidey films and Christian Movies from now on.
Get Jim Caviezel to reprise his role as Jesus in Venom 2

It's a pretty slow month until 9/20, when Downton Abbey, Ad Astra and Rambo: Last Blood come out, which could generate a lot of talk (especially in the case of Ad Astra), but yeah, it's hard not to think that most theaters are waiting for Joker to come out.Box office is boring these days because nothing bomba nothing break out, everything do as well as they expected more or less.
Be preparedBox office discussion has been pretty slow lately. I don't know if I should anticipate or dread the influx of discussion that will come from Joker.
Everything can't be the greatness that was Avatar's run. Those threads were LEGENDARY at the old place.Box office is boring these days because nothing bomba nothing break out, everything do as well as they expected more or less.
It could just be me, but it doesn't really feel like a good time to put out anything cartel-related in theaters. Not that I don't think it doesn't have a built-in audience, but I don't think there's much appeal right now for someone mowing down Mexicans, even if they are the bad guys and it is Sylvester Stallone doing the mowing. Just seems like it's in bad taste, even if it's not trying to be.Stallone is an idol of mine, and yet I still constantly forget a new Rambo is coming out
It looks like a DTV film that they slapped the Rambo name on
It 2 opened at 400+ more theaters than the previous one but made $90m+ could it have been the reviews, it'd length that hurt it or a combo of the two?

The marketing is weird, I get the vibe the movie is mostly Brad Pitt looking wistfully out into space. It will be this generation's ContactAd Astra is gonna bomb tho
No way it opens higher than $20 million
The horror. The horror. The marketing is weird, I get the vibe the movie is mostly Brad Pitt looking wistfully out into space. It will be this generation's Contact
They would've needed to film the 2 straight back to back for your timelineIT waited a bit too long. There is a fine balance between building hype and "Nah I will catch it on streaming"
The marketing I've seen of it seems to say "Y'all saw Gravity and Interstellar right? Please sir I have kids to feed"Ad Astra is gonna bomb tho
No way it opens higher than $20 million
That movie was fun time, glad it wasn't a bomb.$25m domestic on a $6m budget isn't horrible for Ready or Not.
I liked Contact until the ending
Are you saying they are better than Micheal J Fox?They would've needed to film the 2 straight back to back for your timeline
I figured Joker winning that award put you in a coma.If you're wondering why I'm quiet this week, it's because the only positives I have to say/good films I acknowledge on the top 11 are literally just Ready Or Not and Scary Stories ⚰
Watch Ready Or Not if you haven't yet
I'd say worldwide? Not that shocked by the domestic. It has done well worldwide. They knew their audience. Question is enough for a sequel? It's certainly profitable but you know.If you would have told me Hobbs and Shaw would only make $30 million more domestically than Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...
It's definitely getting a sequel and they'll remain split until Rock and Diesel squash their beef.Hobbs and Shaw should get a sequel
Unless that set up at the end was for fast 9/X
Crawl is one of those movies you have to admire if only because it does everything it needs to and does it as well as you could want it to. Folks came in wanting some killer gators and some rad set pieces on a low budget that never once betrays the quality of everything else, and that's exactly what you get.Of of horror movies this summer, CRAWL is the most fun, Annabelle is bore fest.
I wish it was as good as Contact. The marketing is weird, I get the vibe the movie is mostly Brad Pitt looking wistfully out into space. It will be this generation's Contact
Crawl was really fun. Stupid, took itself just seriously enough, lean, and efficient. Not a moment wasted in it.Of of horror movies this summer, CRAWL is the most fun, Annabelle is bore fest.
Isn't Arrival this generation's Contact? The marketing is weird, I get the vibe the movie is mostly Brad Pitt looking wistfully out into space. It will be this generation's Contact
No, because by the time Contact happened Jodie Foster already had two Oscar wins.
And at this rate Amy Adams will be lucky to win one.No, because by the time Contact happened Jodie Foster already had two Oscar wins.
I think she will eventually get one, but her win percentage aint looking too hot.
She just needs to stop competing with herself.I think she will eventually get one, but her win percentage aint looking too hot.
I just need Doctor Sleep to not be the worst movie I've sen this year with a Shining reference or that features Rebecca Ferguson. Hello the Fanatic and MIB.I think at I am rooting super hard for Doctor Sleep.
I need one Stephen King adaptation to be great this year. PLEASE.
Outside of IT 2 this week kinda sucked for movies people were looking forward to, but Hustlers is going to be an interesting one to watch. TIFF reviews are really really positive and it could break out in a dead zone of the calendar.Box office discussion has been pretty slow lately. I don't know if I should anticipate or dread the influx of discussion that will come from Joker.
