They said the notice disappointed some software makers, especially U.S.-based publishers that often produce data-heavy games. Those publishers may wait for the 64-gigabyte card to release those kinds of games for the Switch.
You mean, the same publishers that cheapen out on 16GB cards by not only making the game more expensive than on other platforms BUT ALSO by forcing 10GB+ download on users if they go physical rendering the card basically useless? Yeah, as if they're going to be interested in a card that's going to be so prohibitive there most likely will not be a single game using one (mark my words) during the entire Switch life cycle.
GTA V for Switch will either have a massive download required to supplement a smaller cart, or else will ship on the 64 GB cart and cost $99.99.
Don't worry, you will get both the massive download and the price hike at the same time, like we did for L.A. Noire :-)
