You could possibly go into the service menu and disable the IR blaster
Didn't even know this was possible. Thank you.

Did you manage to do it?
Can anyone help me with my HDR issue?
I have LGC7P and while it should support HDR, XOX is telling me it doesn't.
Is there any way to fix this?
As a guess, most tvs need the hdmi input set to wide colour or similar, and some tvs only have 1 hdmi capable of hdrCan anyone help me with my HDR issue?

You need to go into the TVs general settings and enable HDMI Ultra HD Deep Colour for the relevant HDMI port you are using.

My lg c6 oled needed the colour option turning on for the hdmi input I was using.
Your digital games are automatically available on the one (games & apps -> ready to install; it might take a few seconds to display all the games).I went from my 360 to the x, skipping the x1. How do I transfer my digital games? Some of them it did automatically when I logged in with my account but others not at all. Umvc3 is on my 360 for example but it didn't transfer. Same with Rayman Legends. Do I have to tranfer them to an external hd?
Check the drive on the pc with a software like crystal disk info -> https://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html (7.5.0 standard zip edition version is enough; direct download link -> https://crystalmark.info/redirect.php?product=CrystalDiskInfo ). Sounds like the drive might be faulty.Help please. My X is taking forever to format a Seagate 2TB HDD.

My X is going to arrive next week. Can someone explain to me how the Dolby Atmos App works? I don't have an Atmos ready sound system yet, but it also works with any headphones plugged in the controller?
Also, is there a list of compatible games somewhere? I got FFXV during the recent sale to test an X enhanced game, but I'd also like to get a game that demonstrates Dolby Atmos well. :)
Is RE7 getting an X update soon? I read it was an enhanced game but I just popped it in and it looks bad compared to the Pro version so I don't think it's 4K, though the HDR is good.
Many suspect the 4K update will come out with RE7 Gold on Dec 12.
Use the Movies & TV app. I have been using it to view videos on my QNAP NAS without any issues. I think the media player app is no longer supported.Does anyone else have an issue with the Media Player app just not successfully streaming movies from other devices on their network?
Excited to use Play Anywhere with Shadow of War. Instead I went 400gigs over my cap because the Windows 10 store is such a huge pile of shit that after multiple issues trying to download it, after resetting the Win10 stores Cache and letting the game download overnight, I came away with a 600gig Game download that was allegedly only 90% done. WTF this shit just cost me 80 extra fucking dollars, not to mention any additional charges now through the rest of the month! I know this isnt EXACTLY related to XoneX but play anywhere was a huge deciding factor in me getting it, and I am really fucking pissed about this.
You can chose to move from beta group to delta or omega. Omega receives may be once or twice a month the update, just before it goes live for everyone. Or you can simply decide to opt out completely, knowing that if you wan to come back later you will start in omega group (or delta, I'm not sure about that).
IMO if you are not ready to accept updates (and bugs) you shouldn't be in the insider program. It was called "preview program" but it's a real beta program testing with all the problems and annoyances that could happen in this kind of process.
Yes, I have the same problem (I reported it through the console / insider app).Does anyone else have an issue with the Media Player app just not successfully streaming movies from other devices on their network?
To get specific eventually it just crashes.
Could it be pulling game updates from live? I doubt the 4k assets are on the game disk.I popped my my brand new Forza 7 disc in last night as I was going to bed and left my console on so it could install. Woke up and it was only at 30% and paused, and whenever I keep trying to restart it pauses almost immediately and says the disc is dirty or damaged. Brand new game, not dirty or damaged whatsoever.

I just saw that they don't give you a headset anymore with the console, I wonder why. Does the X have bluetooth?

Depends on the game. If the original 360 game runs in 1080p or uses a dynamic resolution with up to 1080p the game will most likely be 1080p on the One (X). Also the forced AF is helping a lot on the One X. Example:Do 360 games run at native 1080p? I popped in Bioshock and its looking sharper than I remember on console...
I just opened the Movies & TV App for the first time. I had no idea it existed. If the Media Player app is no longer supported, would be nice if they indicated that somehow.Use the Movies & TV app. I have been using it to view videos on my QNAP NAS without any issues. Yeah, I pretty much only use high resolution stuff, I have my TV for a reason is the way I look at it. So I would like to be able to stream it like on other devices. Thanks for confirming you also have the issue though. Makes me not as crazy trying to troubleshoot it as if it was only myself.Yes, I have the same problem (I reported it through the console / insider app).
I managed to break it down (at least for me) that the problem only happens with videos with a high resolution / bitrate. SD content plays fine, but HD crashed the app after X minutes.
The Windows store is so bad. I have had so many issues in the past that I had given up, but I figured my reinstall around the Coffee Lake release would fix everything up. Nope. I still can't download any Play Anywhere games that I bought over these past sale days. I don't have any caps so that's not a problem here, but damn.. I want my freaking games installed MS.
I currently have 5 games failing to install over multiple days, plus 2 failing to update.
No problem i was in the same situation a while back. I can also confirm that the Movies & TV app can also play local 4K HDR videos. You may only have issues if your on Wi-Fi as the file sizes may be very large. Thanks again Spanic. I am watching a file that crashed the Media Player app multiple times last night through Movies & TV, and it is playing right now and seems to be solid.
Reading about how nice Fallout 3 is really has me hoping they do he same improvements to New Vegas also (I still need to go back and finish the branching quest lines)Completed Wolfenstein 2, and looked through the Xbox One enhanced games I haven't played yet. I decided to buy The Witcher 3 in anticipation but for now it was a choice between Titanfall 2, Super Lucky's Tale or go and replay Fallout 3.
I chose fallout 3.
Its like nostalgia, when you remember a game being amazing graphically and go back to it to find its awful... But this wasn't the case.
The graphics are so much improvement now, the framerate hasn't dipped, (and I remember the crawling along at 20 fps if you were lucky when it originally came out). The resolution boost is amazing and it's like playing a game that only game put a couple of years ago. It just cements how bad fallout 4 fell with the rpg elements. But I want to mention one thing:
Load times.
Original game going in and out of settlements or basic houses could sometimes take a while. But now they are so much more improved, the small analogue timer for the loading screen goes away so quickly, there are times you dont even have enough time to rearrange your underwear!
Its an amazing game and in my top 10 of all time and it amazes me how well MS have implemented everything and because of this I am going to be staying with the Xbox ecosystem, yes PS4 has some great exclusives, MS just seems to care about legacy titles.

Its on Best Buy's page but its been updated slightly. Theirs is a LG 27UD69P-W
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-27-...c-monitor-black-white/5770300.p?skuId=5770300
Its a 60 Hz,HDMI 2.o monitor, with a display port for PC gaming also. The inputs are 2 HDMI ports(both 2.0), one display port(think its 2.1 but not sure sorry. No HDR though, those are seriously expensive, very near the $1,000 range. There was suppose to be one or two out there for $650 I believe but the reviews were abit mixed, claiming the HDR wasn't the greatest in them. But I don't really know for sure, just going by a few impressions I read awhile back.
Anyways the one I bought was infact at Best Buy, almost a month ago now. There are suppose to be two versions of this monitor.
LG 27UD69P
LG 27UD69P-W
Not sure what the difference are between them. I tried looking up the differences but never found out what it actually is,probably something minor. Even went to LG's website and they don't say the differences, maybe its a previous model that has been discontinued?
The One I bought, and also the one in the first impressions video is listed at BestBuy.
That being LG 27UD69P-W
I'm thinking the price may drop so best to wait abit. It was $500.00 a month ago but dropped to $429.00 for a week only, thats when I grabbed it. Its $500.00 again but it'll probably drop in few days so just wait it out if youre wanting this monitor.
Overall its an IPS monitor. Suppose to have amazing pixel density and the colors, contrast, and clerity are amazing. Its also a freesync monitor, meaning it'll help out games with troublesome frame rates. But from what I've read it can only do so much,it'll help give you frames back but if a game is horrid in frame rates that count be helped.
I've had no trouble with the monitor at all. No ghosting, no input lag at all. Has lots of pre set game modes, cinematic modes for films, picture viewing, web surfing, etc. menu are easy to navigate, and the build overall is really nice. The monitor is built on a sturdy base,so no rocking back and forth, very stable. It even swivels, or spins, in that you can adjust the monitor (turn it left to right) so that it can be positioned to play games like PacMan or Japanese arcade shooters in the proper screen viewing mode. Its overall a damn good piece of hardware and am very happy with it.
I was curious if you can tell me what settings you use on it. After reading your reply about it I just had to get it since it drop to $350.First impressions video: https://youtu.be/byEeNii1esw

Suddenly my Xbox can't connect to wifi. I know is a router problem because all of my other devices can connect to it without problems. Also, I put my cellphone as a wifi hotspot and it can connect to it flawlessly.
The thing is that this is a shared wifi router, and I just cant switch it on and off as I please. Is there another way?
