The original xbox one does too. My xbox manual said not to plug it into a surge protector when I bought it.

Its the cherry on top. But X is great on 4K only also. Hell even in a 1080p its awesome and every game gets downsampled by the system. So no fingers crossed needed a dev supports it.

The dot gradient is not obnoxious, it is pretty nice and subtle.

I've had a 360, 360s, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS4 Pro, Wii U all connected to a power surge protector. Zero issues in 12 years.
Mine surprisingly was delivered at 1pm this afternoon from Amazon UK , Still not played anything yet as it seems everything has a massive update to download first!! Picked up Gears 4 and Quantum Break and downloading Killer Instinct. My download speed is about 180mbs so why is it taking so lonnnnnnng
ok I am currently testing my scorpio edition dear god so far its dead silent !!. but then againi its normal because I didn't play any game yet. is there a way I can play a game to test the heat / noise from the console without downloading a friggin 100Gig game ? at this rate I wont play today at all.

The HDMI problems on systems always make me nervous. Going to gently insert it into the slot and make sure there is no horizontal or vertical pressure on the cable.

The HDMI that comes with the console was fine and snapped in without any problem. the power cable is the one that didn't want to go in for some reason had to use some force I was fearing I would break it lol
Same here, but you know how they say that ignorance is bliss lol.
I noticed that I had to give a little force to insert the HDMI cable for the first time. More so than the One S (which i just moved yesterday)
My favorite thing about the console design is how the have the power brick inside of the console. Swapping out my bulky XBO felt so good.

I did play a little BF1 , which does not even have a patch yet, and it was a very significant upgrade in performance. now it runs like a brisk. gfx were clearer too, but not like as if it was patched.
For COD ww2 you can expect full scorpio support => very significant upgrades in visual and performance aspects

The key when talking to representatives that work for large corporations is be friendly but assertive. Tell them what you want. My initial request was that I wanted the current order to be discounted, because I preordered the item in August and Amazon didn't fulfill their end of the bargain. He put me on hold to talk to a supervisor and then countered saying that he could offer either $25 on my next order or 1 free month. That didn't seem sufficient, so I politely requested to be transferred to his supervisor who offered (above).

Yeah, I don't want to spend money on a 4K TV with HDR but missing out on HDR kinda sucks, I feel like I wouldn't be getting the "complete" experience.
I might just hold off alltogether for now, $500 seems a lot if I don't have viewing experience I want.

Just grabbed my regular edition @ Best Buy. They had about thirty or so preorders sitting behind the counter. Only a couple of them were of the Scorpio variety.
