What's this and why should I care?
Look, shows are going to get cancelled. It's just the name of the game. In order for new shows to get made, existing ones have to be cancelled to make way for them - after all, linear networks only have so many spots on their schedule. Thus, every old show that gets renewed is one less new show that will be ordered the following season. And new shows are a good thing! An exciting thing.
And it's nice to know if the show (singular) you're following is headed for cancellation, right? See what kinda level of investment you should be...investing...in it, so there's no crushing disappointment at the end of the season (and no "Why God? Why was 'Almost Human'; 'Star-Crossed'; 'Minority Report'; 'The Secret Circle'; 'Alcatraz'; etc. cancelled?" breakdowns. Even though there are always those kinds of breakdowns). Well, this is the place to find out!
This thread is now also the home of Pilots, those twinkles in the eyes of creatives, hoping to be full shows.
