No, but he's an authority and primary writing staff member. If you don't like his matches--which logically, extend to his booking philosophy--it is basic logic to presume you won't like his overall product. For crying out loud, AEW's mission statement is to bring back old school wrassling, and that is not modern Meltzer Fight Forever shit. (Young Bucks sunset run aside.)Wait a minute here. Just because you talk shit about Cody you are a so called aew fan? Come on
IDK if there's as hard a contrast as you're saying. It's defintely a big sampler of all kinds of wrestling, though. And frankly, we've not seen the depth of that well considering who their partners are.No, but he's an authority and primary writing staff member. This isn't a purity test. It's a common sense thing--look at NXT's product where you're seeing three Canadian Destroyers a match and multiple false finishes with Gargano, and contrast it with AEW (again, Young Bucks aside, who are really bad about high spots and false finish spam.) There is a clear-as-day difference between what the product philosophy is.
What no. Aew's mission statement is to do a variety of wrestling not to bring back old school wrestling. Because you don't hire Kenny Omega ,the lucha Brothers , Jon moxley etc because you want to bring back old school wrestling you bring those guys in to have a variety of wrestling .No, but he's an authority and primary writing staff member. That's definitely true, you are right.IDK if there's as hard a contrast as you're saying. It's defintely a big sampler of all kinds of wrestling, though. And frankly, we've not seen the depth of that well considering who their partners are.

Rewatching All Out.
Omega vs. PAC was so damn good, and JR did a great job of selling the story that Omega was off his game and that he wasn't thinking straight. When PAC easily got out of the way of a top rope dive to the outside, JR said that Omega might as well have had a big green sign on his chest telling PAC that he was coming. And comments like "that split second that Omega hesitated was all PAC needed." Even Goldenboy (or maybe it was Excalibur) chimed in with a "He's taking his time when he shouldn't be."
On a second look, this was easily a 4.5 star match for me. Maybe even 5. Either way, it was excellent and had a clear story of Omega taking too long to showboat instead of closing things out. Just beautiful.
I don't think it's possible to recapture his PROGRESS title capture but I think 'deathmatch king' would be a really fun, but limited spot for him.How do we feel about Jimmy Havoc? He looks like a bit of a runt, but I've heard people singing his praises for years now. Seems like a guy whose entrance costumes are more memorable than his matches.
I'll keep watching and hoping he gets something that makes me see what others see in him.

AEW already has their own PAC."Trump, who was inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, appointed Linda as the Administrator of his Small Business Administration back in 2016. She stepped down from the role at the end of March 2019. It was reported then that Linda was planning on helping with Trump's 2020 re-election campaign. CBS reported at the time that Linda would be working for America First Action, a pro-Trump Super PAC.
FEC data shows that Linda is the Chair of that America First Action Super PAC, and made a donation of $1 million back on May 28"
Or Jericho shaking the bottle and spraying Cody in the eyes, lmaoJericho could even use a little bit of the bubbly in the match. Imagine Cody selling a bubbly shot to the head.
*Jericho reaches under the ring for something*Or Jericho shaking the bottle and spraying Cody in the eyes, lmao
I don't think Cody carried Darby but rather he clashed horribly with him.So like people are complaining about Cody now? The guy looked more like a star than ever on Saturday and he's had nothing but great matches In AEW, including carrying Darby Allen and Dustin Rhodes (not necessarily knocking those guys).
AEW has been amazing and revived my love for wrestling again. As good as NJPW is nothing is gonna beat a weekly program. I really hope they put the differences aside one day. Get some AEW/NJPW dream matches going.
Yet another reason to support AEW....
"Former WWE President and CEO Linda McMahon has donated a total of $366,200 to the 2020 Presidential re-election campaign for Donald Trump, according to data from the Federal Election Commission.
Three different payments were made on June 3 of this year. One donation was made to the Trump Victory PAC based in Massachusetts, for the amount of $360,600. Linda then made two donations of $2,800 each, for a total of $5,600, to Donald J. Trump For President, Inc., which is his Presidential re-election campaign.
The donations were made through Linda's McMahon Ventures LLC, and were her first political donations since November 2016.
