Tommy seems to have taken note of the PS4 vs Switch animu game censorship drama, where Nintendo seems to (surprisingly) have way looser standards than Sony. And then, in true Tommy fashion, he exaggerated the hell out of it.

Really does feel like AA is growing increasingly frustrated with the Amico topic; which is odd as you'd think if production had indeed started and TT is producing all these "deep dive" videos than there would actually be stuff to talk about.
It is interesting to note that this comes in conjunction with Intellivision opening a private Facebook community to communicate directly with fans. TT hasnt' posted to AA since Friday so it's possible he picked up his ball and went home and the AA mods know it.

Videos can only do so much for something that has been delayed, especially something that has been delayed multiple times. It was a small audience that probably gotten even smaller. I wager there maybe double digit folks in that group at best.
I think it's maybe actually the opposite of that. There's more to discuss / be hopeful about when it's all hypothetical. Tommy promising the sun and the moon didn't help, either. Now that things are firming up and getting out into the light, the less insistently-delusional people may be realizing that they've been catfished.
Talking about "oh, I bet the game does this!" is more engaging than "oh, the game has ten levels and we basically saw the entirety of it in twenty minutes."

So, either they're doing something incredibly dumb and building some units that they may end up being unable to sell, or he's just pulling things out of his butt again.
I am not an expert, but considering we hear about new phones all the time from the FCC, way before they are announced. I am thinking that can't be right. Unless they producing a bunch of stuff not to sell

I don't usually back seat mod, especially across other forums, but this is a pretty easy mod call. When a single topic is generating 75%+ of a subforum's posts, the people running that subforum have fucked up, and they should have recognised that and done something about it long before now.
It's true that you can produce devices and then get FCC certification for selling them later. Nobody does that at any kind of scale though, since if the FCC says no, anything produced up to that point is useless. The fallback at that point is hand-disassembling units and swapping non-compliant components for compliant ones. What seems to have happened here is that someone told Tallarico that they knew that the console wasn't going to be produced soon because if it was then it'd have FCC certification, and Tallarico's response was to suggest that maybe Intellivision would be doing an incredibly stupid thing, didn't think of that, huh, did you, Amico hater?

Al closed Tommy's "Fun Amico Conversations" thread along with a couple of other general type threads saying they need to be more specific. Also there has been a little more criticism on there since the Battle Tanks fiasco.
