If you say so chief.Ports and remasters in addition to boatloads of first party exclusives. Well ok, indeed.
Kinda mean but also very true and funny lol
But how big of a factor is that when xcloud is out and you don't have to rebuy those games if you already owned them previously? The people saying "so many ports lol" must either not have a Switch or only play theirs docked.
The key point is that these games are portable now. You can pick up Witcher 3 or Divinity and play it wherever you want. That's the magic bullet here.
I'm a pretty big cloud stan, including cloud gaming, but xCloud over mobile internet (especially while moving) is not going to give you half of the same experience as running a game from local storage. But how big of a factor is that when xcloud is out and you don't have to rebuy those games if you already owned them previously?
Us Nintendo gamers are late to the party, let us enjoy it.In the grand scheme of things it's been well over a decade since there was any real quality software drought
Totally agree. They've put some niche games in the spotlight this Direct, because the rest of 2019 is already so busy with more mainstream stuff.I'm not even mad that the recent direct had almost nothing for me, since this fall is already packed and I still have a long wishlist of unpurchased games.
Yep - Niche was exactly what I was thinking the whole time watching.Totally agree. They've put some niche games in the spotlight this Direct, because the rest of 2019 is already so busy with more mainstream stuff.
Would've loved to finally see some Doom Eternal footage though...
They do
Yeah it's a weird one where they're bringing a huge number of older cult classics back into the ecosystem. They're all awesome games. It's great.I've never even heard of almost any of these games.
I'm so looooong gone out of touch with the Nintendo ecosystem....
Edit: Most of the games I'm seeing are old? Divinity original sin 2? Devil May cry 2?
