Man, Ico would be a waste of their time.
Like, they would do a good job. But who the hell is craving an Ico remake?

Absolutely. Remaking Demon's Souls is a waste of time. A remaster is more than sufficient in its case.I get wanting Demon's Souls remake, but I feel for that kind of game (a last gen title) then a simple "remaster" would make more sense. Up the resolution and framerates and all that good stuff and slap it on the PS4. The kind of stuff Bluepoint did with other games before SotC. I feel if they are going full remake, like SotC, then doing it to an older title would make more sense.
Spyro is coming but it'll be handled by Vicarious Visions much like Crash.
They're obviously remaking MGS 3 on the Fox Engine.
They've worked for Konami before so it's clear that they've taken this a step further.
lol

So do you actually want Mario Galaxy? Or did you just say it to justify your jab at the Switch? Which is false btw.Given that 90% of the Switch lineup is ports and remasters Bluepoint would be a fool not to try get in on that.
So I am going to say MARIO GALAXY!
SotC is a 10 hours long adventure game with 16 enemies. DS is a RPG with more than 50 hours of gameplay and like 10 times more amount of assets = larger scope. The amount of people in here who think a tiny RPG by an at-the-time no-name dev is a larger scope game than mother-effing Shadow of the Colossus is...baffling.
The SOTC remake is incredible and the best thing that could happen to SOTC.SotC has been pretty divisive.
Even Kotaku wasn't afraid to attack it

There's a lot of reasons for it, but it's basically a remake where the original creator was intentionally kept away from the game so Bluepoint had to make some design decisions irregardless of the original devs, which meant they had to re-interpret the source material, resulting in some ...odd changes with the final game.
The criticism is a bit hard to find on Era, where anti-bluepoint talk was kept hush hush, but it's there if you look for it.
As i've said before, Bluepoint needs to stay away from games considered art, so I hope the next remake doesn't fall into that category, so these shenanigans don't happen again

I tried SotC, and I think they utterly ruined it. I've been so excited at the idea they might tackle Demon's Souls next, now I really hope they don't.
How is it not? Its a forty hour action RPG. Not a seven hour adventure game.
"With Shadow [of the Colossus], the studio most definitely grew in both number of people and skill level - and so we continue to grow and expand and look at areas of weakness," said Peter Dalton, Bluepoint's technical director. "One area that we've not explored very deeply is, 'What does our design prowess looks like? What is our ability to build something original and to expand it, rather than just upgrading something?' and so we look at those things and we are constantly trying to enhance and strengthen the studio to get to a point where, yeah, doing original development or whatever comes our way, we're fully capable of doing it."
I just hope they don't fuck it up with weird new skins, guns, voices, etc, and lock old ass DLC maps behind paywall like they did with CoD4.People who keep saying modern warfare 2 are forgetting who did MW remaster. Activision will use their own studio.

Demon's Souls' UI absolutely fucking needs to be trashed and redone. No fucking way can they ship that shit in 2018. It was already fucked back in 2009.I get wanting Demon's Souls remake, but I feel for that kind of game (a last gen title) then a simple "remaster" would make more sense. Up the resolution and framerates and all that good stuff and slap it on the PS4.

I agree, remakes are more interesting.Yes!!! Remake.
I don't mind remasters, but remakes are so much better.
Hopefully it's a Syphon Filter remake. :)
hes just saying it would likely not be for PC if they do it
it would likely have nothing to do whatsoever with from's new technology and instead be a hybrid of their own engine running the backround engine code of the original Demon's Souls engine. that's what they've always done so far
Is the developer just making exclusive games/remakes for PlayStation platform or are they multi plat?
Their last few games (SoTC, Uncharted Collection, Gravity Rush) are PS only, but they aren't only tied to Sony. I think Sony is just sending them a lot of work.Is the developer just making exclusive games/remakes for PlayStation platform or are they multi plat?
SHUT UP ....!!! W$%#&
smh. My dual 87's will ride again."Scope" can mean different things, not just the size of the game world or characters; I assume remaking DeS would be harder than SOTC considering the complexity of the title
Spreading misinformation is against our ToS
Yeah that's incredibly likely, I could see Activision doing that, since they left all the futuristic era behind them they might as well order new-Infinity Ward to make MW4 and Raven to remake MW2 and release them back to back.Modern Warfare 2 remake is coming in 2019 with Modern Warfare 4.
