There's stuff you gotta learn the hard way in Blackout though. Like shot leading, which weapons are worth a damn and that you really can't hang out in the collapse in the final circles. Although you don't even need Christmas noobs for the last one, people are still throwing games constantly because of that.
Edit: parachuting is another big one. There's gonna be a fully kitted firing squad waiting for anyone who doesn't how to do it effectively.

True but I'm just saying that a christmas noob will, in general, fare much better in Blackout then say TDM, where he's a level 1 and there's guys with multiple prestiged Vapr's maxed out that will roast them in seconds.
No idea, maybe Friday for because of the DLC launch on XB1 & PC and Christmas? And hopefully double tier progression as well.

Double tiers is quite unlikely because it's still early. They want to milk some microtransactions from people who want the guns right here and right now. And there's only 100 tiers anyway so people would complete it pretty quickly - it's possible we won't get double tiers at all.
I got to level 18 Prestige 10 from Prestige 7, and I was only using a knife throughout all those levels. Pissed a lot of people off and made a lot of rage quits and people salty. My mission is complete, at least till I get Master Prestige.
Ruin + Knife on Firing Range or Nuketown is the funnest shit ever.

Damn, I just made it from Level 44 Prestige 1 to Level 6 Prestige 2. I wish I had more time for this game.
If you are on PS4 you probably pissed me off too. There were some knife players that raised my salt levels to the max. The only thing that's more rage inducing than the reload sound after shot by a sniper is the "ka-ching" after beeing stabbed by a knife.

She was waiting for a big score streak to go live and she stole my Attack Chopper and took over Torques shield and a tac deploy. Not to mention shutting down our UI for almost the entire length of time

This game is pissin me off day by day already 6 games in an im always on the losing team scores like 15 to 48 with 1 min left and they always spawn me right next to a group of enemies.
I haven't played her yet (X1) but she sounds she's the Zenyatta of COD. I think they did this so teams can't steam roll everyone all the time and go apeshit on ults and scorestreaks. No one likes being on the end of that so this was their solution. Is it her ultimate or is it one of her abilities?
That's what I do. Normally I play Crash but if nobody on the team plays as Zero I play her and then I wait for the enemy to call in a scorestreak. But most teams are afraid to call in a scorestreak if they know there is a Zero in the other team and hasn't used the Ice Pick. On one side I must admit that I feel bad for raising the salt levels but on the other side I'm sick of getting stomped from time to time and Zero helps a lot to not getting stomped and keep a game going or even turn it into a late win.
It's her L2+R2 ability. So it's one or two times per Zero per game.
It was supposed to end today but they extended it another 24 hours.
Should end tomorrow around 1pm est.
Its here "ultimate" move, called Ice Pick. A decent player can get it twice it per game. And each team can have two Zeros at a time. So essentially you can't even use a damn score streak, which is shit because score streaks are harder to get than the Ultimate (Which you get just by playing regardless of death)

This is actually a good point cause while yeah getting your scorestreaks destroyed/hacked is bad they scorestreak binge is still far worse.
I will say that they should of made hacking the scorestreaks/equipment last and hacking the players first.

I try and toss out my chopper as fodder and wait to use strike team and hope I can cycle back after that first chopper hack
I enjoy solos for unlocking characters with placement requirements, since it's not difficult for me to get into the Top 5, or even the final three. I've got maybe 15-20 solos matches under my belt with a 20% win ratio, so I know I'm not bad at the mode, but like you said, Duos and Quads are just more fun. It's the social aspect I enjoy.
Plus, bathroom campers just suck. Pusillanimous assholes.

I enjoyed Frenzy immensely and part of me wishes it were permanent so we'd have another flavor of Blackout always available but when I played vanilla duos yesterday I had a really good time not worrying about the circle collapsing every 2 seconds. It was nice to just loot, chill and have time to think. Also unlocked Richtofen in that match so that was cool.

Choked hard twice last night in Blackout.
First, came in second, and I had the drop on the guy. He quickly tossed up a barricade and then got a gross 1 shot headshot on me with a sniper.
Second, I just needed to reach top 30 for Torque and I could not just get away from people no matter where I went.
Despite all that, still loving it.

Man this is the first COD to really grab me since.....maybe MW2. Absolutely loving it on PC and Zombies has finally clicked with me as well. Well worth the $40 I spent on this game and I already bought the pass for it. I just gotta get my past my "fear" of playing Blackout. I didn't really get into PUBG I love watching BR games on Twitch but for some reason I don't like playing them much. Need to try this one someday though.

Same here in terms of MW2. I'm the opposite though - the only thing I play is Blackout. Give it a shot. You'll really love it once you get the hang of it. Also - it's more fun with Quads or Duos so try to group up with people.
My buddy and I had the worst choke in duos last night. We had somewhere around 8-10 kills as a duo and ended up in a 2v1 where the last guy was ridge-peaking us with a sniper. He was able to pick off my teammate, then threw back to back concussion grenades at me as he pushed and by the time my vision came back he was on top of us and made quick work of me.

I swear as I get older I turned into a hermit when it comes to multiplayer, even in TDM I turned off all chat and voice chat so if I did Blackout it would be solos for sure. I think it's the whole gather loot for 5 minutes only to get sniped from a mile away lol. Need to play a bit more aggressive and then I might enjoy it.
Yeah my win rate hovers at about 20% as well though my Solo rate is a bit lower with Quads being higher. I usually go to the hottest place so if I survive the initial drop it's a guaranteed top 5. Campers are so funny when you come up to a building with all the doors open except for one bathroom door...
Also I had a game where I downed one guy and then the guy through a smoke at me while he went to pick up his friend. Thanks for the cover I guess. I just rushed them. I don't see too many people using their downed friends as bait so if you down one it's a pretty safe bet to lob a grenade or just rush em.
I still think concussions are a little too powerful. They slow, stun, and blind. I kind of wish they would go back to the old CoD thing of concussions slowing and flashes blinding. My knife video I posted end with me just tossing a concussion, running across the field and knifing two people to win it. They shouldn't be stunned for that long.
New patch is live on consoles. Ultimis Richtofen Special Order which includes a skin for Blackout can be bought for 600 CoD Points.
Damn I wish Sony did something about this "copying update file" bullshit, it takes longer than the actual download itself.

Prophet seems like the hardest Blackout character to unlock. Keep 3 perks in your inventory at all times and pop them when there's 5 left (hope nobody is around to see it!!) and then win the damn game lol

So we have the Custom Games setting now. I think its 16 players max for each mode? That defiantley would be fun to have some ERA Blackout matches.
So according to CharlieINTEL all MP Specialists are now unlocked by default for everyone in Blackout. K then.....
I need to get 4 Collaterals and a bunch of Quad Feeds to complete the Killer operation. Quad Feeds are so damn hard. I've gotten fury kills but it's hard to get them while nothing else is happening. I wish killstreaks still counted for stuff. Now they just pump up the numbers but you get less for em. I started using strike teams cause I don't think they can be hacked.
Unless I'm completely overlooking them the options for Blackout Custom Games are actually non-existent for now, like there's actually 0 customization.
At least on PC it isn't possible.According to Reddit it seems that Reactive Camos are now able to be used on all guns so long as you have Gold for that gun:

No your right. They don't have any options besides selecting the game mode (Quads, Duos and Solo).
Wow, the Specialist Super Fan trophy now unlocks immediately after finishing a Blackout game! They forgot to make the missions the unlock trigger, so the unlock conditions for that trophy are now "finish a game".
That means no need to try to go for Prophet any more... and my unlock of Seraph ended up being useless as trophies are my goal here.
