I'd say the opposite is true
If bernie people actually wanted his campaign promises seen completed, maybe they should vote for someone who's more likely to get shit done
I mean ffs come on. I'm so sick of Democrats trying to tear each other down at every opportunity. The chances of anyone getting anything done is zero if Republicans have the senate or the house. I have no doubt that Warren and Bernie both have the skills and desire to implement the policies they've put forth. Neither of them are incompetent.

It'll be nice to not have people calling me every day and knocking on my door after the NH primary is done.

Anecdotal ground game based on number of calls/knocks
Pete pushing hard, had several calls and knocks from his people.
Bernie with the next most knocks, oddly no calls
Tulsi robo calls almost daily. "Aloha! I'm with Tulsi Gabbard and ... *click*"
Warren with 1 knock and 1 call
Klobb a couple calls
Biden *crickets*

Special mention for Tulsi, she's been in every parade in my town and has 1/2 a billboard ad in town. Biden doing basically nothing in my town is weird as pretty much every frontrunner from either party has done some event in or around town during primary season.

Going by political signs it's Pete-->Bernie-->Tulsi-->Warren-->Klobb. I think I've seen one Biden sign? My town is on the redder side of purple FWIW.

Does people really believe that if Bernie can't fully complete his promises he will just cross his arms and do nothing for 4 years instead of compromising and trying to get as close as he can? Why someone less progressive would get shit done but he wouldn't?

I've seen this narrative and is quite baffling honestly.

Precisely.

Let's not ignore the fact that these are life long senators known for getting shit actually done.

i'll feel differently if by some miracle everyone else gets blown out and it's just down to bernie and warren, in which case yeah she absolutely should, but right now where it may be a five person race where she places forth it's like, eh, she'd clearly lack the impacT to meaningfully help

why would people who aren't democratic socialists have to label themselves as such because bernie's on the top of the ticket?

It's not the label they give themselves, it's the label their opponents give them. Especially post-endorsing the Democratic candidate, democratic socialist Bernie Sanders

Bernie supporters should vote for the candidate they believe in, the same as any support group.

There is no need to compromise before entering the door.

Gotta prime the Bernie Twitter conspiracy pump now that it's looking like Pete is going to take the popular vote lead too.

EDIT: Or is he? Who the fuck knows at this point. We already know how the actual delegate count is going to shake out and the actual popular vote count doesn't really count for much otherwise, so we should just drop it and concentrate on the next contests.

I don't even know why people would be that surprised, given that it's Iowa and Pete's from nearby Indiana. Like, it ain't rocket science.

again, who cares?

like I said in the bit you didn't bold republicans are going to republican regardless of whether or not the nominee actually identifies as socialist

Umm...well I hate to say it, but those attacks might be more effective with a real socialist involved. Since voters are susceptible to red scare, this is a genuine concern.

perhaps twitter is bad, because the need to be The First To Publish can lead to making mistakes

The 2024 caucus will be decided by which support group can make the most free throws in a high school gym.
