Yeah, if they hit such a popular streaming with a permanent ban he must have done something extremely fucked up.
Maybe it's because of this? But it's not like his controversies are anything new. Curious too see if they make a statement on it seeing as it seems to now be permanent. I still feel like it might be DMCA related, and if so I'd be scared shitless if I was a full-time streamer, but my HOPE is it's because he's an asshole.

It is a relief to the possible situation for other streamers and Twitch allowing abuse of DMCA. It is not and will never be a relief for anyone who has been a victim of his actions.
If you ask me, it sounds like the mass-Sponsor Pullout on Method has Twitch spooked of an incoming Adpocalypse and have started culling anyone who could get Advertisers to start pulling out on them.

That deal most likely has somekind morals clauses in it so if this ban is because of those offenses then Doc gets nothing.
Can't help but feel it might be sexual abuse related as Twitch just recently said they'd start perma banning people accused of sexual abused based on their own findings. Hopefully that's not the case and its indeed something like him violating his contract.

Does Twitch ever issue statements on bans? Because banning someone who pulls 30,000 concurrent viewers daily is not a small thing to do. That's like, as many viewers as Mixer gets all day concurrently across the entire platform.
Given his history and some of the stunts he's pulled, it may not be the reason, but it's not exactly unlikely.
Still can't believe we had assholes here doing the "it's was just a joke bruh why you so mad" spiel to justify that shit.
