I already have Marishtan, Addis and Sazanka, so I probably won't pull just for Ieyasu, as I have a feeling there will be several really nice banners coming up. This banner isn't necessarily "bait", as everyone on it is amazing, but it's definitely there to drain people of their resources before something amazing drops. FEH + Ieyasu/Marishtan return in the same month? Yeah, there's something big coming.

The pity rate only resets when that particular banner leaves. Keep in-mind that any pity rate you have on the current banner will not transfer to the Ieyasu/Marishiten banner, and vice-versa. The pity rate applies ONLY to the banner you pulled on.

I have Marishiten and she's great, but her battle ability is a little tricky since you need to activate it a few steps away from the enemy otherwise she lunges forward and does her spin outside of the enemy's location. Bleed makes up for that of course, and I love her design/voice, I just wish her battle ability was a little more easy to position.

I do have 3/4 from those units. The only one missing is Addis. Not sure if I should try and get him or just save. I'll probably do the latter, even though Addis would be my first really useable Wind unit.

In GBF, the way zodiac characters work is that unlike normal limited characters, zodiacs periodically show up throughout their introduction year, then are gone for the entire following year, and re-introduced the year after that. If DL follows a similar pattern, Ieyasu will show up a couple more times this year, be gone for all of 2020 (though we'll get a new zodiac during New Years), then come back again in 2021 alongside the 2021 zodiac character.

It's not guaranteed this is how they'll do it in DL, but it's possible, especially with this announcement, so plan accordingly. I'll also definitely be grabbing a couple more copies of Heralds just in case if those are coming back as well.

Honestly I was considering skipping the Gala to save up for a Marishiten rerun so having the NY units come back before that is fine with me.

I've got pure Strength dragons for every element except for Shadow, so Marishiten is the only thing I'm really missing. On the other hand, while Gala units are nice and all, I don't really have any obvious holes in terms of adventurers/teams. There are some great characters that I don't have, but I can put together a reasonable to great team for pretty much any of the main element/resistance combos out there so it isn't like I need a Gala Elisanne or whoever in order to clear a HDT or something.

I'm going all in on Marishiten. Hopefully I have better luck than I did the first time around.

I'm in a spot where I don't need any more adventurers and would only see any real power boost by getting better dragons. I've done the 3 high dragon trials available at the moment and I've got pretty good options for the 2 yet to be released (H.Elly, Annelie (HH), Hildegarde/Veronica,Heinwald, Botan is lowkey amazing too). I have so many adventurers its almost a burden to try and get the most out of each of them lol

Its not strange its common business sense - thats how they usually operate.
Especially now that the game launched in more regions not too long ago and Fire Emblem brought in new players as well - gotta milk new players and their funds as well as older ones that saved up.

I don't understand this Sabnock Nightmare raid battle. We'll try over and over again without even getting close to beating him, and then a miraculous run randomly occurs and we'll have 50 seconds to spare like what happened just now, with an 87k+ might team. I don't get it. lol

We don't know, but considering you need I think 1750 orbs just for the dracolith and another few hundreds for the High Dragons... why not just farm some now? At least I am spending all my leftover stamina on Jupiter at the moment.

I really want Ieyasu, since i lack an offensive 5*dark unit, but on the other hand Mym is my most wanted unit overall.

But would Mym not be more likely to be an Adventurer, since she already has 2 Dragons in the form of Brunhilda ?

To me Mym is Specifically the Human form.

It could be both, maybe an adventurer that transforms into a dragon temporarily as one of its abilities? But then I'm not sure how they'd handle equipping a dragon to an adventurer that can also transform into a dragon, so maybe they'd need to do something special/different for her. Regardless, Mym is definitely coming eventually, how they handle her is anyone's guess. Summer seems like a good time to release her (if they don't do a gala version, maybe they'll eventually do both). I can see Zethia being the first year anniversary character, for when they wrap up chapter one of the story.

There's lots to plan for, that's for sure. I'm just thankful I have everyone on the Ieyasu banner, Ieyasu not included. It makes it a little easier to skip, but even then I'm a little tempted. I have Curran, Heinwald and a promoted Sazanka (along with Marishitan), and I still feel like pulling for Ieyasu, but I'll try to resist. Not an easy choice, the banner is incredibly good.

forgot there was maintenance scheduled for today. Barely used the last of my skip tickets on Jupiter and ended up with a bit over 1500 spheres. Then a bit after I was gonna use some wings and it went offlne. Phew.

There are really three parts to it. Using on-element T3 weapons adds 50% to whatever stat boosts the weapons gives, which in turn adds a lot to might. The other third of the equation are max unbind dragons. The last third are shrines and dojos.

Everything adds up. Weapons are what probably makes the biggest difference, but stuff like castle upgrades, Wyrmprint levels and even dragon relationship levels also play their part.

People who were actively playing throughout the months since release also have a higher Might ceiling right now due to event facilities.

I am a mixed bag of emotions right now.
I used 22 single summon tickets and got 3 rainbows, which is crazy.

First one was my first Curran, yay Husbando
Second was my first Agni (I got so excited when I saw the rainbow dragon)
Third was a dupe Ezelith

Then I did 3 tenfold summons and got a dupe Xander on my third.

Marishiten eludes me yet again but at least I got some new stuff (Including Heralds of Hinomoto yay) but its off-banner stuff that I probably would have gotten during the Gala.

Gonna see how things go until the gala, maybe keep throwing single tickets at it

Well, we're getting a bunch of Wyrmite now with both Resplendent Refrain AND Void Battles having limited/daily endeavors. Also, you can daily deal both showcases if you want to maximize Diamantium value, though they have separate pity rates.

Luck otherwise was alarmingly good. Did ten singles and 8 tenfold summons and 5/8 of those had a 5 star on it.

1. Zephyr (new!) and Ezelith (stay hydrated)

3. Ieyasu (sweet retribution!)
5. Ieyasu 2: Electric Boogaloo
8. Curran (new!)

I was legitimately traumatized by the first run of the new year banner so it's good to get some revenge. Also that Zephyr was a minor miracle. I can only ever seem to get mixed str/hp dragons. Unless it's Agni.

Aye, I did a lot of the limited endeavours and decided to do one more tenfold and got a dupe Annelie. Decided I'm not going to do anything more than single tickets and the daily deal from now on.

I really want Marishiten, but there will be other 5* strength dark dragons in the future and playable characters are more important than dragons and the gala is just around the corner.

I'm glad they brought it back so I had the chance anyway, and I got Curran, Agni and Heralds of Hinomoto (and pretty much enough dupe Eldwater to pay for it too) so I came out winning I feel

You definitely got lucky, but the game is pretty liberal with the amount of free currency and tickets it gives making it easy to not spend any cash on it if you choose to.

I'd say Dragalia is about average in terms of gacha rates, and you had a pretty lucky pull with Ieyasu (0.5% of pulling him). However, they do give out a lot more currency that most, so you can pull a lot more. Every two months or so there's a rate-up banner called the Gala, which boosts 5* rates by 50% (4% to 6%), where you're likely to pull a lot of 5*'s, so it's best to save your Wyrmite/tickets for these. We also occasionally get 5* tickets which gives you a random 5* adventurer, though there's a chance for a dupe.

No. There was a 0.5% chance to get Ieyasu on any given podium lol

With the amount of currency given out you'll definitely get a bunch of rare stuff but targeting with rates this low is a recipe for disaster and it'll catch up to you eventually.

If you're happy with taking what you can get (and nothing is genuinely bad outside of the 3 star dragons) then you'll have a good time. The action gameplay is somewhat unique for a mobile game with this level of production value.

If you're one of those, "I must have (insert rare new character)" that derives enjoyment mostly from summoning its a bad fit.

Not that bad, since i only had the FE units on this account before those pulls.
So all in all seven new 5* Heroes including Ieyasu.

Needless to say im not pulling again for a while and have a bunch of units to work on xD
