Obviously not...oh well.
no, the second one is base PS4.Is it possible that the second one could mean previous generations?
Thanks. And here is Brad Sams, from January 2019, talking about Arden,he says it's almost sure that name is part of the Xbox family:
cc: Rumpestump
not really, BC for previous gens would be done via emulation.

xbox doesnt have "BC modes" for xbox 360 and og xbox either
It's mostly likely that Sparkman is Anaconda it was found to have 560gb/s.
Oberon file name in project Arden is not a mistake I think. Probably Shakespeare names like Arden, Arial, Oberon, Gonzalo and Flute are all codenames related to PS5.
Yeah,i hope everybody can see this post you made to avoid any confusion:
Either this or it's some weird coincidence where Sony names are all Shakespeare related and somehow MS decided to name one of theirs similar too, Sparkman and Anaconda have nothing to do with Shakespeare. It's mostly likely that Sparkman is Anaconda it was found to have 560gb/s.

So in the files Arden does have a Shader limit of 3584(56 CUs)
Question is full die or with redundancy?
Havent found anything relating to the clk speed... probably less than 1,7 GHz for 12 TFlops?
Shame that there are no differences between Sparkman and Arden and only theoretical limits are in the files.
What the hell... this is crazy.Wait wait wait...
Prospero, Ariel and Gonzalo are all characters in shakespeares play the tempest
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tempest
Oberon and Flute are characters in his play A Midsummer Night's Dream
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Midsummer_Night's_Dream
And now the most important thing
ARDEN is using a quote of wikipedia:
The Arden Shakespeare is a long-running series of scholarly editions of the works of William Shakespeare
Arden is the complete work including both of these plays...
Could Arden be the completed PS5 and the other "parts" of it?
Sparkman is basically the only name without any reference to Shakespeare could this be XsX?
Am I insane?
If it wasn't for AquariusZ, I would have thought Lockhart was just the binned Anaconda.
Alright, I've hopped off my hopes, dreams, and feels train (which had PS5 at 13TF and XSX at 14TF, among other things). I'm now on the PS5 at 9.2TF and XSX at 12TF bandwagon.
Interesting, ps4 pro has higher/better pixel rate than xoxShame that there are no differences between Sparkman and Arden and only theoretical limits are in the files.
Interestingly onle 64 ROPs with a 320-Bit memory interface, which would indicate that Oberon/PS5 would have the higher/better pixel rate thanks to the 2 GHz clk.
Yeah I also think that is going to be the case. Good specs for both IMHO. Sony is going for price, MS for power.Alright, I've hopped off my hopes, dreams, and feels train (which had PS5 at 13TF and XSX at 14TF, among other things). I'm now on the PS5 at 9.2TF and XSX at 12TF bandwagon.
Probably also better/higher geometry perfomance (both have 8 prim/clk --> Oberon 2 GHz, Arden 1,7Ghz)
I don't know what the hell is going on anymore. So Klee was wrong? PS5 and XBSX not within 10% of each other now?
Or just plain bullshitting us?
I wonder how RT will be.
Guess we will have to fully see how it's done by AMD.
We will never know... anyway... it generated some great speculations :) Some of them crazy wild.
No stop this, please, don't go down this road. Klee even vetted himself multiple times.

There are Raytracing results for Arden/Sparkman, but none for Ariel/Oberon (at least in the one file im currently looking at).
Arden (Xbox) is 56 CUs, Oberon is 36 CUs.Of the 3rd option. Both are 9 TF machines. MS never confirmed 12 TF.
Edit: hmqgg also mentioned that XsX is Dante and that is another writer like Shakespeare. This is so confusing...
