Looks kind of ugly, but it's portable MK11. If it runs fine, it might be awesome.
I think it looks great. And it is 60fps.

Heads up regarding the Konami Arcade Collection
For those who didn't know, this is a compilation of Hamster releases of Konami arcade games (which I believe aren't available standalone on Switch, but are on PS4 and Xbox), and as we all know Hamster tends to offer both international and JP versions of all games they release... Well, that's not the case here. Only Japanese version only gets JP roms and international collection only US roms.
The very official site says "Powered by Arcade Archives" near the bottom https://www.konami.com/games/50th/ac/arcade/eu/en/I still need to see a confirmation than this collection is handled by Hamster.
Yep, Hamster released all these games on Playstation 4, through the Arcade Archives series.
But this implies nothing.
In the same way as there are SNK games in the 'SNK 40th Anniversary Collection' that have been released in the Arcade Archives series. But the emulation in the collection is not handled by Hamster, but by Digital Eclipse.
Yeah a Castlevania collection with no way to play JP Castlevania 3 would be mighty frustrating.

FYI the Japanese version is the one you want if there's truly no way to swap regions. This is a pretty frustrating discovery and doesn't bode well for the rest of the collections which will have even more regional differences to contend with.
I'm not even an MK fan (my wife is though) and I might just pick the Switch version up. Looks damn good and the appeal of playing it portably while on a flight or waiting for a movie to start is too damn strong.
Caved on Katana Zero & Cuphead, I'm seriously starting to think that my Switch is the only console I buy games on anymore.
Same thing here. difference is that my wife hates MK, but i love it.
I even have my joycon modded to have a d-pad since i love playing fighterz and BBTAG on the switch.
Gonna add MK to that.
Not that you talk about i think i only bought games for the switch since i got KH3 on january.
I'm gonna get those 2 games also today but i'm also looking at Hell is Other Demons since it looks to be my jam.

Here's an 8 minute, 60fps video of Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay on Switch:
Yeah, I take my previous comment back. It looks pretty good!
Just saw a video now on Nintendo Portugal that says Realm royale is available now with the founders pack.
Guess one more game for this already packed week.
Really ?
A stealth release of realm royale ? Now ?
I'm really curious about this one...
Both are very different beasts. Cuphead is more focused on boss battles and it really comes down to you avoiding the boss' attacks and shoot em down until they're out of phases. Sometimes get a parry off of pink boss attacks to build up meter for stronger attacks. There's no check pointing though so you're gonna need some patience. There's also side scrolling levels but those also don't have checkpoints. Each level shows you how far you got into the fight/level after you die. There is an easy mode where bosses have less phases and are less offensive, but it's not a well built assist system like Celeste where you can accommodate specific attributes of your character to better cater your playing experience. How would the difficulty of Cuphead compare to Celeste? I don't usually like rock hard games but the checkpoint system of Celeste really helped and I loved it!
Thanks for the feedback! Think I will still give it a try...Both are very different beasts. Hey, a bit lttp to your question but I just have to say, Everspace is a fucking great game! Haven't tried the Switch version but I have over 50h into the PC version. It's basically FTL but in 3D and with space combat.I would kill for something like Space Pirates And Zombies on switch right now, I got the itch for a top down space shooter with progression and customization.
Any recommendations?
Everspace looked like it might scratch the itch abit aside from the prospective.
Katana Zero seems technically solid from the first couple of levels I've played. Lovely. Great music as well. So far I think the gameplay is fun, but I hope it stays manageable / challenging without going too nuts with difficulty later on.
Nah, only the arcade ones. We still don't know who's doing the other colldctions.Does this also appears in the 'Castlevania' and 'Contra' collections?
If Hamtser has a running emulator of Game Boy and NES, this gives me hopes of them releasing Console Archives collections in the future.
Here's a thread with the specificsThanks for the heads up. I can see how this can be frustrating to super fans, but are the differences big enough to make this a bad purchase for the average player? Like, is the performance bad in the US version or is it missing extra stages?
They're really hard to compare as they're so different, but maybe they're kinda similar?... The main focus of Cuphead are the bosses, which you restart instantly upon death, and the fantastic visuals and music along with the sheer fun that they're to fight should keep you wanting to give it just another try, but I guess it varies from person to person. How would the difficulty of Cuphead compare to Celeste? I don't usually like rock hard games but the checkpoint system of Celeste really helped and I loved it!
Played Everspace on Switch for like 40 hours. Really enjoyed it except for the fact that jet boost is mapped to clicking the left analog, and none of the four control schemes stray from it being mapped to clicking one of the sticks, so you end up holding it down A LOT.Hey, a bit lttp to your question but I just have to say, Everspace is a fucking great game! Eshop update for anyone else yet with all the game to be released today? This is silly.
