You know, I really love how Resetera keeps on demonizing a lot of Youtubers based on them having either bizarre opinions or just having a bad take.

NoA can't even be bothered to pay for unionized actors in Smash to record new lines (hence Sonic & Sora reusing old lines from their games and Cloud & Sephiroth only speaking Japanese), they aren't gonna splurge for Anya.
He's a professional, he's not going to talk about an unreleased project at a random convention

Relax, he probably wouldn't be able to talk about it until the game actually comes out anyway (NDAs & whatnot).

What if he had blurted out that his favorite line he recorded was when Luigi turns into a dragon? Or whatever unreleased thing the game might have

I'm pretty sure like with Patricia Summerset and Matthew Mercer as Zelda and Ganondorf for TotK, he'd have to get the go ahead from Nintendo to confirm.
That & the abuse allegations, as Nintendo has forgiven NDA-breaking alone in the past (see Rena Strober as Azura).
Why is that weird? Nintendo doesn't want voice actors leaking details about Mario games the same as any other game.

You don't want actors saying things like "Yeah, I dub Mario and also Wario in Wonder, but you only unlock Wario in the post game".
It could be because of absolutely pointless videos like this, but something about that stupid blue hand puppet makes me want to pull it off of whatever wretched hand commands it, and use it as the "bad" towel that gets reserved for unhygienic situations like when the pipe under the kitchen sink is leaking.

Just about all games are under NDA, it doesn't matter if it's Mario or whatever else.
I'm helping to alpha test Palia, which is a new IP from a new much smaller studio, and I'm under NDA for that.
Basically every actor for any major game is under NDA, it's basically just a given. Some actors will talk about things that might be allowed in the bounds of that NDA but most will probably wait to talk about a project until they get explicit permission that they can start talking about it. Playing around with any NDA is usually too high risk to mess with for most folks.
It's a good way to get yourself blacklisted from the industry basically.

I guess it might be a wall of shame type thing if Wonder is the first Non-Martinet game, but only for those who seem personally offended that someone thought a voice sounded different.
I didn't watch the Arlo vid until just now but it's clear that half of this thread didn't either. Cuz if you genuinely thought that that 'Wonderful!' sounded like Charles Martinet, then you're not as discerning as you think you are 👀

Third I guess since Charles didn't voice Mario in Wonder and likely assuming WarioWare as well.
