Looks like the OST (well, volume one of it) is about to be available:I don't see enough people talking about the music, haven't finished the game yet but it's some of the best of the year easily.
You would be correct. The credits surprised meJust finished Bob Zanotto's level.
I wasn't expecting the ending of this level to reveal Helmut and Bob were married. I fucking loved that and it's my new favorite moment in the game. Also am I just realizing that Nick is voiced by Elijah Wood, or does it just sound like him???
you can upgrade your powers in the menu, using points you get whenever you rank up.How do i upgrade my badge..? Or is that not a thing? I remember hearing something about an uprade but i wasnt paying attention.
You can do it with good timing on the log closest to the area you jump off from without the time ability.
Yeah I got in there without the ability as well. But I just timed the log coming up and I used the B/Circle button air dive to kind of glitch to go through the water. You can also do it, just by riding the logs and jumping as they're about to turn. I did it both ways before getting the ability and kept thinking something was off, like these platforms are too fast moving. Turns out they were :)
Yes it definitely feels like it is bugged currently because some things can trigger the rumble but 90% of the time combat moves or getting hit don't cause any vibration. Super weird.Just started this and what a fun and imaginative game!
Only issue so far is that vibration seems broken in game. Ive not had the controller rumble on my Series S once during combat and throwing stuff around. Then finally as I slide down the hallway towards the section with Lili where you have to burn the posters - the rumble motors kicked in!
Is this the same for everyone else?
Weirdly, can't seem to get stable 60fps on the PC version of the game, and I have a more than enough PC for it (Ryzen 3600 + RTX 3070).
Anyone had any issues regarding performance?
Just unlocked the final powerIs it just me or does anybody else keep their projection constantly with them even when they're not needed? Its fun having a paper buddy with you.
Gamepass version has FPS stuttering problems if that's the version you are playing on.
Holy shit I can't believe they got <late game voice actor>
Rikki Simmons! aka GIR from Invader Zim to play the Archetype. I had to google it the first time I summoned him and he said "Im a paper airplane!" sure enough this game is a reunion.
So early on I had a suspicion about who the mole was, and I'm curious if anyone else noticed this and had the same thought I did:
When the two of them speak for the first time, Raz asks Truman if he knows who kidnapped him. Truman says he only saw "that psycho in the shower cap". My immediate thought was that it was kind of a harsh line, especially after some of the other agents expressed empathy towards Loboto. At that point I suspected that not everything was as it seemed with Truman. Turns out I was on the right track.
Probably a reach on my part, but it would be neat if this were an intentional and subtle bit of foreshadowing early on that Truman wasn't the real Truman.
Either way, finished it up last night and it was fantastic. Most fun I've had with a game all year.
Ashamed to admit I never gave the first game my time. Remember hearing of it back at the time and didn't seem like something I'd enjoy. But now the hype seems quite high for the sequel so... should I play the first before jumping in? I've got Game Pass, has it aged well?

I'm playing on my ps5 with the game on a external hard drive and I'm getting a decent amount of stutters.
I am loving he story and world, but the combat and controls are not that great.
having to switch out your powers to the triggers could have been handled better.

I love the controls so far (especially coming from the first game) but I agree with the power switching thing. It's not too much of a hassle but it is a bit annoying. Would've been nice if you could maybe have two sets of power assignments and switch between them using the d-pad or something.
I Did it by jumping on the log when it is in the pond at the bottom and teetering on the tip as it tilts upwards, then jump of as you shoot up.You can do it with good timing on the log closest to the area you jump off from without the time ability.
Good tip, will try thanks.Doesn't totally alleviate this but if you go in to controls settings and toggle on 'use triple jump to glide' and 'levitation ball pulldown from glide' you basically free up ever having to equip the glide power.
It makes it so that it activates the glide by triple jumping and then activated the ball if you hit jump again while you're gliding, whenever you want without needing to have the levitation power equipped.
One less power to worry about having to keep switching!
