Yep, got the address check yesterday and the shipping email today.
You seem to be a shmup fan so I'm surprised you're omitting two dozen great vert shmups on the platform for the sake of your joke.So has mine! I am excite!
Now I just need a lost of compatible vertical games.
1. Ikaruga.
2. ...
3. ...
Precisely why I ordered one. Got my shipping notice today.
Mine doesn't either. I wonder if it's an international shipping thing?
I guess so... Hope it will be there by Christmas !Mine doesn't either. I wonder if it's an international shipping thing?
Didn't get any fancy wrapping paper on my unit. >pout< ;-)Here's some unboxing photos. Spoiler'ed for anyone who doesn't want to see it until they get theirs.
Oh man, it hasn't even left the US yet :/Your shipment was received at 8:12 pm on December 3, 2018 in LOS ANGELES, CA 90009. The acceptance of your package is pending.
Don't those have to be physically connected to the switch (i.e. they don't work via Bluetooth)?Say guys, is it known if this works with the Hori joycons that have a Dpad instead of the four separate buttons?
I'd guess it doesn't, but it would be so much better to play shooters with a Dpad. The joycon sticks are just not ideal for that kind of precise movement.

If so, they won't work, since the joycons aren't physically attached to the body of the switch and are in "kick stand mode" or whatever Nintendo calls it.
Eh, just like I thought. Thanks. No, they wont because they lack wireless capabilities (and the Flip-Grip takes up the rail slot on the Switch console itself).
It's the shipping bubble mailer. Fangamer standard.Without any fanfare or notice, my FlipGrip arrived today! Spent an hour playing various TATE games and can confirm it's a nicely-engineered little kit -- everything is solid and easy to work with, and the instruction card/credit card/kickstand is an extra bit of genius. All that I'd need to make it perfect would be some sort of way to keep the instructions/kickstand attached to the grip when not in use, but that's just a minor quibble on an excellent product.

Mine just came in a cardboard mailer. I guess you're one of the blessed people. :-)
Fuck 'em, let 'em stare, they are just jealous of my aspect ratios.
