I've found that info trying to learn more about that set I'm thinking of buying. I've seen several sites stating it's 50 Hz but there it says 50/60 Hz. How can it be both and why would any set released in 2019 be 50 Hz? Does it mean it supports a 50 Hz signal from European television (TDT) but the set natively works at 60?
Also it says 8 bit + FRC; Is that a bad thing, do real 10 bit panels exist, and what's the difference? I mean, it's already an IPS, if it doesn't have pure 10 bit image processing why does it even support every HDR type, what's the point?
I have this crappy Vizio 40"-ish that is barely working. The remote buttons don't work except for the volume, the top half of the screen will freeze when you turn the tv on and will continue to freeze until the tv warms up for some reason.
Still, not in our budget to buy a new tv atm so we're just making do with what we got.
2017 55" Vizio M Series, a remarkably good TV for the price at the time.
I want to upgrade to an OLED, but also want to go up in size, and just can't justify the cost of a 65" OLED. I don't watch movies/game enough in that room.
I got some like 10 year old 46" 1080p flatscreen from Philipps.
I don't really use my TV much and it's still perfect picture wise so no reason to change it.
A Sharp Aquos LC-50LE650E 50" LCD (1080P). I bought it years ago and I hate it, it has a terrible picture. But, since I almost never use it, I don't care about replacing it any time soon.
I'm waiting until the new consoles come out then I'll probably get a new TV next year and put this one in my living room. The living room one will go in the master bedroom. The old hunk of junk Samsung from the master bedroom will go on the back patio or maybe in the garage.
I desperately wanted a 4K HDR TV, so I got this one because it has native Steam Link support. Now I'm in a new place and it's a bit too small for how far I'm sitting, so I'm already looking forward to replacing it in a couple of years.
I own a 32" HD Ready Sony TV I bought so many years ago now. I said I'll only buy a new one when this one breaks. Now I'm pretty sure it's been about 12 years now and it's not even on the blink, it works perfectly. At this point I'm just cheering it on. Keep going, lil guy. I'm really getting my ÂŁ300 worth.
