Before I start I would like to thank everyone here for not only helping this thread making it so far, but through our sense of community, dissuasions and chemistry we have formed a community greater then all other manga threads especially in todays times, its fun coming to this thread in the morning and talk about stuff from One Piece to anything. I can sincerely say without this thread the site wouldn't be as good

Now its time for the Recap Portion of the OT, brought to you buy Viz Media subscribe to them today.
Last we left of, we got the reveal that Luffys Fruit is that of Joyboy and as we begin Chapter 1044 as all of Onigashima begins to shake as Luffy awakening begins as we cut away to the Five Elders also shaking at the prospect of Luffys Fruit that fruit that has alluded them for so long awakens
Orochi is now trapped under rubble and Komurasaki pulls the rug out from under him telling him that she is Kozuki Hiyori that she is here to kill him as the last ember of the Spirit Kanjuro made lights Orochi aflame.
With Luffy thinking this is Gear 5 (don't know if he knows its awakened) he shows off his toon like powers by grabbing Kaido up through the ceiling and toosing him around with Popeye arms before reflecting Kaido own Boro Blast back at himas we finally get a clear shot of Luffy now with Kaido apologizing the last bit of this battle begins.
Kaido is a bit preplexed at Luffy powers having the Rubber abilites of a Paramecia but his transformations and such more reflect a Zoan but it doesn't matter as Kaido jsut gobbles Luffy whole, Yamato and Momonosuke arrive to see the carnage as Luffy really shows off his powers blowing himself up and pulling himself out of Kaido eyes
Luffy flies into the sky as a shocked Yamato and co see Luffy make himself giant using Kaido as a jump rope slamming himton the ground with Kaido blasting Luffy away, but just like a cartoon you cna never count him out as everything Kaido does isn't enough to keep Luffy down and out as Kaido himself is huffing and pufifng as he goes back to Hybrid clear at his ends now as the two clash and rumble some more Luffy shows off his powers by throwing a punch so hard it goes through Kaido
As Luffy & kaido trade blows above, down in Castle Onigashima everything is falling apart as the fires spread everywhere throughout the castle;
From the Strawhats, to the Samurai and Appo and co no one can escape the flames consuming everything luckily its time for Raizo & Jinbe Super Attack as Raizo has sealed and kept large amounts of Water with him just incase every since Odens Castle burned down as Jinbe uses FIshman Karate to spread the water throughout Onigashima but with on fire put out another resurfaces
Momonosuke remebers what happened before he and the others were sent to the future as its hammered to him that he must grow up and set up to save Wano and the Kozuki clan, as Luffys Thunder Bolt misses its target Kaido punishes Luffy wailing on him with his Club but Luffy uses the Rubber Ground to fly himself into the Sky grabbing a bit of Kaido to keep him from flying away as he prepares for his final attack.
As the Fire Festival reaches its end with everyone working together to lift and get there lanterns flying there fellow family & samurai inside Onigashima reserve themselves to the fate if Onigashima were to crash that even though they would die it would be a sign that Kaidio is done happy to go down with Wano saved....Luckily Luffy isn't gonna let that happen as he emerges from the Clouds telling Momonosuke to move Onigashima ass he won't move his up coming attack that he trust the Shogun fully.
As Luffys fist comes crashing down Kaido readys himself using a form (Awakening IMO) covering himself in the Flames of a Dragon rushing towards Luffy burning the horns of Onigashima to Ash as Kaido clashes with Luffy with one wishing to throw the other to the ground and the other to burn one to cinder.
As the clash rages on we see flashes of the horror and actions Kaido and Orochi have afflicted onto Wano, the laterns with messages wishing well to thos departed and hopes of a new Wano free of Kaido are carried into the sky as the now free Orochi with one head makes his way to kill Hiyori to end the Kozukis but is saved much the same way as Denjiro cut Komuraskai with Orochi now he cuts down Orochi to save Hiyori.
As the two Titans Clash in the air Kaido confident in his might taunts Luffy that his stenrgth isn't enough to change the world as with a brief flashback we see in many ways how Kaido got his Pirate Way, that Might makes Right your only as good are your power is crushing everyone who tried to control him or prevented him from doing as he pleases as he says fighting and war is a true mans worth really mixing in withnhis speech of Death completes a person.
As we see a bit he talks to King letting it be known Yamato knows about Joyboy as Kaido says the Joyboy Yamato is waiting for will be the one who defeats him as King tells him that day will never come as King truely believes in Kaido.
As the Battles reaches the crescendo as Onigashima is ready to fall, with water rushing out and people turned around in the chaos of Onigashima...Momonosuke produces the clouds needed to save & move Onigashima as Luffy throws all his energy into that last punch.
Luffy destroys Kaido cracking one of his horns as the blow from Luffy much like his entrance into the story falling from a Sky Island, Kaido is pummeled all the way into the crust of Wano going deeper into the lands below as Luffy and Momonosuke saved the day defeating Kaido and saving Onigashima.
As Kaido and Big Mom fall into the magma crust below Wano Yamato saves the falling Luffy at the same time the Fire Festival Ends as the laterns carrying the hopes and wishes of Wano are carried into the sky we get to see little Toko right a happy message for her dear departed Father Sonic, Catviper announces the defeta of Kaido as all the forces of the Pirates, Ninjia, Samurai Mink whatever Allaince celebrate and cry tears of relif and joy that the battle is over....Momonosuke tell Zunisha the borders will be open in Wano but not yet as the Shogun begins to feel earthquakes.
Some remnants of the Beats Pirates try to fight back against the celebrated & depleted Alliance but Yamato sets them straight.
With the Raid a succes and the Battle over, Momonosuke and his retainers make there way to the Flower Capital for an announcement as the townsfolks are shocked to see a Dragon but those fears are dashed by the Dragon saying Kaido is no more as it falls to the ground smoke everywhere as shadows emerge with the first being the thought to be deceased Hiyori and the now different looking Denjiro.
With Kinemon emreging from the Shadows doing his best Oden pose as the crowd is in shiocking seeing long departed ghost as the red nine present themselves this event is being broadcast all around Wano...

Yamato finally meets the strawhats showing himself not to be an enemy but saying hey nice to meet yall, you guys are a bunch of weirdos and I'm joining you I'm Yamato "Kozuki Oden" but before much more cna begin the other hero makes his speech...As its been 20 Years since his fathers death he thanks everyone for enduring the suffering inflicted by Kaido telling them that the Festival will not end tonight as free clean drinking water for all and the end of forced labor and factory pensioning.
The Wicked Rule of the Tyrant Kaido and the Shogun Orochi is over thanks to some help from blah blah blah Alliance, as for now just as his name says he is invincible under the sun that under him Wano will become what it once was a prosperous land but he will need everyones help as he has travelled 20 years for this.....
As the people of Wano Cheer and the Saviors of Onigashima celebrate, Momonosuke remembers his mothers Promise planning to keep it as he follows into his Father footsteps his own way as we slowly pan away we get a narration boxes that we have witnessed the birth of what will be known as One of the Greatest Shoguns of Wan... Kozuki Momonosuke.
