So I haven't super been following everything, are they expecting tomorrow to be a close one or is it going to be pretty certain one way or the other?
Holy shit, I didn't realise their odds were that strong. Still, I'm deathly paranoid something stupid is going to tip the scales the other way.Well labor are $1.14 to win so make of that what you will.
I'm still terrified something like the death tax fake news will fuck it up. Because you know, people are stupid.
That's a better poll than what we were going into the last election with, even discounting Newspoll over-weighing PHON and UAP preferences. And Labor nearly won the last election based on that.
Right, but the distance between what Labor has right now and what they need for a majority is so small that if Victoria alone turns into a bloodbath for the Coalition as some expect, Labor will likely get over the line.It seems clear to me that labor will win this election. The question seems to be if it will be a clear majority, or if they will need to negotiate more with a minor party.
Given that will be the greens and not some asshat conservative group I'm more than fine with that.
Still nervous...

What happens after Labor gets their majority is going to be interesting, because Shorten is apparently significantly more skilled at working with senate crossbenchers than the people in the Coalition, but also because the Coalition is currently a gigantic garbage fire right now, especially with several major players having jumped ship. If ScoMo resigns from the leadership in disgrace, there's nobody left who is actually competent or liked enough to take on Shorten, which is saying something. The Coalition is basically drained of charisma and competence, and that could easily be devastating in the long run for them. I really can't see them rebuilding to become a credible threat to Labor by the time the election after this one rolls around.
Stream ABC24 for Mr Antony GreenWhere can I watch good election coverage tonight if I don't have a free to air connection?

Seeing all those microparties based on fear, hate and fucking stupidity really pisses me off.
The ABC might have a live online coverage, they usually do for stuff like this

Vote Greens 1, then Labor 2.
Gotta build Greens up people! Slow and steady!

Not in the next decade or so, but it's not impossible. Can't see it happening. Greens is basically a dirty word and even with climate change becoming such a big issue few even consider them a legit option.
I voted for the greens. I'm in a safe labor seat so want to send the message about which way they should go.
The how to vote card had liberals fourth out of seven. That is really, really fucked up. A party with fuckwits like George C. is still in the middle of the options.
Going to enjoy a progressive government and try not to think too hard about how many votes Anning gets.
