IGN: G4 is Coming back in 2021

Need Morgan Webb as well. Adam and Morgan's dynamic was what made XPlay so good. I'm not sure if Morgan is still very into modern video game though. She seems to be into D&D a lot more.
I remember G4 being a gaming TV show in my country but I don't think that it's supposed to be in the US
I wish there was more info than just a date, Unless this is really early.

The only thing I want out of this is the archives of ALL the classic TechTV/G4 shows being watchable so I can bask in the nostalgia.
They can do just fine either on a youtube channel or a streaming service.
Yeah, as a youtube channel I could see it. Just not on actual TV. And a youtube channel would strike me as something akin to Machinima

Doubt Kevin will be attached after he squandered his opportunity on the revival of AOTS "The Attack" though it seems he's already been talking about it on Twitter so maybe he'll be on board.

Anyway if he's back don't put that dude in charge so it can crash into another iceberg.

I thought about it and G4 has actual funding. Anyone can start up a web series or chanel similar but It's not going to have the production of television show.
Damn straight.
Maybe they make it a block on another established channel. 6p-12am Mon-Fri on Paramount Networks or Peacock.

They were the same thing in Canada. TechTV had the better content. G4 was like SpikeTV bullshit.
What the fuck? Adam just blocked me over this. I've interacted with him on twitter and followed him for a while. Watched him since X-Play days and followed his career from there. Guess he's really thin-skinned.
While I miss him from the G4/Rev3 days I'm honestly not sure I want him back after the way he's acted some in the last few years.
Welp. Went from wanting Adam back to... not really wanting to see Adam in anything in about an hour. That was weird.
This network was all pre streaming. Even youtube was hardly a thing back then. So it was kinda viable to put on cable TV. Now... not so sure it would survive TV. Has to be a streaming thing.
I loved Attack of the Show and X-Play. Would be great to see them come back.

X-Play certainly matured as time went on. As did Attack of the Show, but the latter definitely had that hard on for the gamer girl stuff.
X-Play and the G4 podcast Feedback would do well in this day and age, but just not as we remember it. So I'm curious as to what that would look like in a year.

It's crazy how X-Play aired at a time when nerd/gaming culture was relatively niche and got canceled right before nerd culture 'hit the mainstream'

there are SO many amazing people creating content these days that blows what g4 ever did out of the water. why hang on to nostalgic threads and beg for people like adam and kevin to come back?
