Gotta be the first Pokemon games???
The first Pokémon ended up below 8m.
I think 10m is if you consider Yellow too.

How can a game multiply it's FW performance by more than a 100??
My understanding from following climate change closely was that batteries were improving greatly each year (batteries are the most expensive investment needed to switch over to mostly non-carbon energy in the United States so they're hugely important to climate change) so better battery technology could come in the near future for electronic devices as well was my guess.
Without better battery life... I'm not sure what a Switch revision could have, So if better battery life isn't able to happen...
Ok I really OT now, but as one that works with development of plug in vehicles I would like to give some insights on batteries.
Yes the technology is getting better but it is not getting earth shaking better. It is not like the company I work for just by changing the battery can double the range of our current products. Meaning that Nintendo might increase the battery life a little bit in a couple of years by changing the battery, if the cost is worth it is uncertain.
And that batteries is important for climate change is a just plain wrong. First batteries comes with a huge CO2 dept. Second we do not have the production volume of batteries to be able to back up the electrical grid. If you want to solve climate change you need to remove coal and the only power source that has solved that so far is Nuclear power. Looking at the current political climate that means that you will get climate change because no one is prepared to do what France and Sweden did in the 1970-mid 1980.

Maybe a bit too OT, but is the best way to get rid of coal while not risking the dangers of conventional nuclear power to develop comercially viable fusion ?
Back on topic, since you work in a industry that uses such technology(irc Nvidias tegra line originated from usage in cars right ?), dont you think the best way to improve battery lifespan is to improve the efficency at which the battery power is used ?
Ok I really OT now, but as one that works with development of plug in vehicles I would like to give some insights on batteries.

France isn't going to replace nuclear power anytime soon.We - french - are moving from Nuclear power. The goal is 2022 or something. Sweden is also moving from it slowly.
Nuclear isn't a great solution, you don't produce C02, but the waste are terrible for the environment and let's not even speak about the risk of failure. Norway is running everything on water power. When I mean everything, I mean something like 95% of the energy they produce comes from water. The investments is high, but it's 100% worth it, they proved - again - that they're one of the smartest country around. Switzerland is also making the switch to water power (50% by now and it's growing). Sweden is also at 50% currently. The only problem is investment cost, political courage and the fact that not every country in the world has enough water power (it's impossible in many countries in Africa for exemple).
France isn't going to replace nuclear power anytime soon.
Especially not by 2022.
80% of France's electricity is made in nuclear plant, our energy deficit is positive and Nuclear Plants are far safer and far less harmfull for the environnement than Wind Farms or Dams.
Whatever the green party harps on about nuclear power, the other solutions are way worse and far more expensive down the road.

It's not coming from the green french party though, it's coming from Nicolas Hulot mouth, second most important man in our current government, state minister (second most important minister). The man that our current president protect the most and struggled hard to get into his government. It's just recently been voted to reduce the nuclear part of our energy from 75% to 50% in 2020 or so. It's a first test and the first step to get rid of nuclear energy totally (again, Macron and Nicolas Hulot words).
We're far off topic though. Glad to know you're french though !
The visual polution of Wind Farms is insane and whenever I go to Britanny I'm always reminded of how ugly and wastefull it is (especially since the ratio between energy produced vs cost/space/upkeep/delocalisation of people is so bad).I have no idea how the topic got there but
- The 50% target was for 2025 not 2020
- A few months ago they basically gave up on that target
- The law isn't recent, it was voted in 2015 under Hollande's presidency
- France has invested way too much in nuclear power for half a century to turn tail so quickly unless there's a drastical change in the political landscape, which isn't how we could define LR REM and the PS.
On another note, most of the argument pro nuclear are often fallacious, especially those regarding the cost of renewable ressources eg. biomass hydraulic, wind, solar
We just happen to live in the country that has invested the most in nuclear worldwide, the nuclear lobby in France is as powerful if not more than the gun lobby in America, but it's always easier to mock other than try to look at ourself sometimes.
That doesn't mean there aren't many impractical things regarding an energetic transition towards renewable sources, nor that there aren't costs involved, but it's by far one of the most toxic subject and harder to find a sensible truth or get well informed when living there.
In fact since Hulot was appointed he had to say France has given up on a lot of things related to environment, not a single week goes without a rumour of him just leaving the government altogether, even by Hulot himself who sometimes find it hard to go through all this. Though it's the usual dilemma of trying to change things from the inside vs the outside, but as of now he's more of a tool used to greenwash the current government that someone really effective on the environmental front.
Anecdotally Japan was the same, if not worse, until Fukushima, some journalists were fired for asking the wrong questions, sceptic experts didn't have any chance to show their opinions to a wide audience etc. all of that is well documented since the big turnaround that was 2011.
At least let's put Godzilla in this discussion if we're talking about nuclear energy :p

Anyway Hulot was at his best as a TV documentary maker for Nature/Extreme sports/conditions with Ushuaia. I never found him really credible as a politician

With a full emergence from Fukushima's ruins!Shin Godzilla deserves a video game adaptation and I don't understand why it's not happening.
They can be happy if it matches 3DS numbers. What are people expectations for the Snack World ?
It appeared on the Comgnet chart with 10 points and is releasing April 12th.

It's already been 6 years. Which means that entire classes that were supposed to attend schools in Fukushima have entered and graduated from temporary schools and will be going on to middle school.
I'm in favor for some use of nuclear, but unfortunately it does not make sense here, which is a shame since we don't have natural fuel sources either so we have to dangerously transport gas to the country.
