Yeah so did the Funi Hikari E dub. That came from space too. And the Funi Dan Dan Kokoro dub. Space was releasing some bangers back in the day.

Honestly I miss English covers of anime openings in general. I'm sure there were plenty of anime fans that hated it but I always enjoyed them haha
The issue can be that they're hit or miss.
The only one that really does it now is Dragon Ball (for Super). The second opening dub was great (since they got Nathan Sharp), but the first... wasn't really a dub. It was just Kazuya Yoshii singing it in English, and it's clear his skills aren't that strong. The endings were mostly bad.
I did hear they dubbed the OP for Zombieland Saga, but only for the Blu-Ray release.
