Gift the dlc via steam to anyone on ur friend listThe price is an absolute outrage. £3.99? I demand to give Sega more of my money than this.
The Mario World cape is now in Sonic. Good lord.
The game is virtually identical on all platforms, so whatever you'd prefer to play it on is the best option. Steam does give the possibility of mods in the future, and Switch is portable, so there's no objective best.
"Play with up to 4 friends"
"only shows 4 players"
Am i missing something
If space is your concern, Sonic Mania is only ~370MB on the Switch. Plus will increase that size, but probably not by much.My concern is mostly storage, though that would be alleviated if i bought the physical version. Though I am going to have to splurge on a high-capacity SD card for Switch sometime anyway...
Wait, out of all people, you don't like sonic mania? It's the best sonic game since sonic 3 and knuckles. Will eventually buy physical and Switch, and upgrade for the One. I'm sure I won't hate it, but I know I'm just not gonna put that many hours into this game. At least I still have Untitled Sonic Racing Project to be hyped for.
character swapping? that's a gamechangerSo the Famitsu scan seems to show that character swapping is an option in Plus, probably exclusive to encore mode? The shot apparently shows Mighty and Sonic as a pair with the ability to change between them on the fly.

And I love how Tails is just like "so, who are you again...?"
Dlc 2 along with angel isnald zone!
Steam. Switch version is the inferior one due to lower framerates in special stages.

Last we checked, it still dips to like 57-59 at times.
Knuckles' Broatix
The horror.
Been out of the loop. Is this a free update to the game? I have the digital download on my Switch.
So does it add anything besides Ray, Mighty and some changed level design/backgrounds?
From what I've personally seen? The one that looks like Fantasy Zone a bit, specifically.
Forces got a lot of love and did well in Japan. Thankfully, current Sonic's not going anywhere (BTW, forces was mostly a 2D game).I like how Mania gets this cool updated version and mini cartoons while Forces gets nothing beyond the trash DLC they already had planned before it even released. I really hope the reception to Mania compared to Forces really gets them to rethink 3D Sonic.
Rethink AAA Sonic would be more apt, I think.Forces got a lot of love and did well in Japan. Thankfully, current Sonic's not going anywhere (BTW, forces was mostly a 2D game).
So Mighty has Sonic bounce attack, thus proving once and for all that he just a Sonic clone.
Jitters & Flex, new and remixed levels, new transitions, possible new story sequence involving one of the game's ladies, and a special case and booklet. Is there a list somewhere of all the stuff that's coming with the Plus update?
Lmao
Thanks! Do we know how many new/remixed stages or which ones?Jitters & Flex, new and remixed levels, new transitions, possible new story sequence involving one of the game's ladies, and a special case and booklet.

Yeah, it's part of the update, not Plus because the Plus DLC cannot be purchasedI thought the transitions are supposed to be part of a general update, not specifically plus?
Amazon did list it for 8/28I actually thought this was coming in August for some reason so this is great news.
Correct, not specifically plus. Plus includes all other updates by default of course.I thought the transitions are supposed to be part of a general update, not specifically plus?
A bit off-subject, but your post reminded me that of all the five characters, knuckles design is technically the newest. Mighty and Ray came out before Sonic 3.Blergh these new characters are UGLY! Not buying this shit to keep my game pristine.
