How long until I can stop seeing the stupid Trump Hotel every time I go to work?
What are you talking about, looks like a lot of fun.
How long until I can stop seeing the stupid Trump Hotel every time I go to work?
I'm pretty sure this has been known for a while nowAt this point I'm convinced that Trump isn't actually rich. Oh, he has money, sure, but it's all borrowed against properties that he's probably still paying on. Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, perpetually. He's put up this facade for so long that everyone just goes along with it, and if he stiffs you on the bill, well, you must have done something to deserve it (just nobody look to see whether he's ever paid any bill, ever). And he calls it "being smart". A con-man will dress up smart to convince you there's more money in the venture than there really is. Trump's been doing it for so long that he's convinced himself that it's actually true.
If all his debtors came calling tomorrow, he'd be broker than anybody here.

What's the deal with what Trump said when he came out of the courtroom at the end of the day?
He was saying something like he thinks the judge was very fair in the last 5 minutes and that he ruled the statute of limitations had already passed for 80% of the claimed infractions?
I thought it was just normal Trump BS but now I'm seeing a video from Forbes on YouTube specifically addressing that comment saying that it's shocking breaking news?
Just to clarify this, there were two apellate decisions (well, probably more, but two recent ones),
The first one was to apply the NY statutes of limitations to the case. Team Trump took this to mean that he would not be liable for any loans that closed before the limitation period, which is most of them. Judge Engoron has read it so that, where submitting regular financial statements was a condition of the loan, each new fraudulent statement is a new fraud, so it affects nearly none of them. I think Engoron has it right. So the only real impact of this decision was to take Ivanka out of the case as a defendant.
Thanks to our wonderful chronicler Phisheep, we know that Trump's totally wrong about that.

Okay so this is just Trump being intentionally obtuse trying to make things sound better to the media than they actually are or maybe his attorney is just so bad that they explained it wrong to him?
What Trump was happy about is that the testimony offered today mentioned the thing about Ivanka's penthouse, which was a deal in 2011, i.e. outside the statute of limitations. The judge questioned this. Thanks to our wonderful chronicler Phisheep, we know that Trump's totally wrong about that.

Evergreen. We'll see if this remains true in this case as well.
At least Trump agrees that there should be consequences for interfering an election
Even though those particular items can't be directly charged, they can still be referenced when establishing a pattern of behavior, can't they? What Trump was happy about is that the testimony offered today mentioned the thing about Ivanka's penthouse, which was a deal in 2011, i.e. outside the statute of limitations. The judge questioned this.
The State counted by saying they are not challenging any of the documents that were filed in 2011. They are challenging the additional financial statements about the property prepared beyond that date that lie within the statute of limitations. Trump is happy only because the judge gave a quote that he could use for his masses - the fact that the judge said to the state's lawyers that if they don't have a way in which the Mazar witness testimony relates to the charges on record, then his testimony today was a waste of time. But they are not done questioning him yet.
This is amazing. I suggest everyone download this magical video for posterity.
He will lose it if he loses the case. How long until I can stop seeing the stupid Trump Hotel every time I go to work?
He already lost it. But he'll appeal if he hasn't yet.
He does not get saying stupid shit does not make it true.

He does realize that statement was already proven false pretrial right?
Dumb idea when you're in a bench trial that could get deferred to the irs for a criminal trialLikely but he is always trying to win over the court of public opinion.
"See, they are lying and trying to get me!!! Can't trust them! But I can fix it!!"
Yep.Remember when he swore he'd release his taxes as soon as his "audit" was over?
It's Infrastructure Week!Yep.
It's his old routine.
Just like he was imminently releasing information about Obama's birth certificate over a decade ago.
Also how his healthcare plan that would cover everything and be cheaper will be released in two weeks.
So he's going to claim Mar a Lago is worth "1.5 billion" but a few months from now he's going to also claim a 250 million dollar judgement is unaffordable?
He does not get saying stupid shit does not make it true.
