Remember when this "never happened" in the first place? Good times.

-Never happened.
-Ok, it happened but it was just Stormy.
-Ok, it happened but it was just Stormy & Karen.
-Cohen paid it on his own to be nice but Trump didn't know about it.
-Ok, he didn't pay it on his own, it came from a Trust.
-Ok, Trump knew, but he gave Cohen the money back.
-Ok, Trump knew, paid back Cohen but it's not a big deal.
-Ok, Trump knew but didn't know it was against the law and swears he never told Cohen to do so.

What's tomorrow's excuse? Mexico's going to pay it back?

edit:
Actually, no.. forgot he used literal Chapelle skit excuse and said he didn't know it was illegal, so he didn't break the law.

According to the "rule of law," nobody is above the law. Source my citizen exam :) Its one of the 100 question you can be asked. Page 4 Question 12.

Quick Civics Lessons for the Naturalization Test

What is the "rule of law"?
• Everyone must follow the law.
• Leaders must obey the law.
• Government must obey the law.
No one is above the law.
I see a lot of commentary that he would already have been indicted by now if not for being POTUS, also that he may not face charges until after leaving the Office, which suggests you can commit crimes to obtain the Office and then once you're there, you're untouchable.

Yes, Trump hired Cohen as a "lawyer" believing that he would provide genuine "legal counsel" lmfao

SDNY have already stated they have corroborated what Cohen said about being directed by Trump to do these things. It's literally in his sentencing memo so I am confused why he would even come out and spout these lies when he's under and active criminal investigation and this could be used against him. I guess nothing else has "stuck" to him so he feels like this will go away too, but he's basically been implicated in felony crimes that aren't going to go away.

Also I love seeing Pamper's tweets just to see the horrible grammar and/or typos lol.

Dude paid off a porn star for sleeping with him while his wife was pregnant, to say nothing of the other women he paid off for adultery, and evangelicals are all like "meh!"

Shit's so frustrating.

That's not the case with any other aspect of the law though, why make an exception for campaign law? (I'm not arguing, i am quite ignorant of campaign law, i'm asking)

I dont know. I'm not a lawyer. I'm assuming since dont kill people is pretty easy rule to remember. Also the people making these laws are the ones who are at risk of breaking them.

The same people are gung ho about building a wall and hating immigrants, while the Bible says, "Whoever despises his neighbor is a sinner, but blessed is he who is generous to the poor."

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

They gave General Flynn a great deal because they were embarrassed by the way he was treated - the FBI said he didn't lie and they overrode the FBI. They want to scare everybody into making up stories that are not true by catching them in the smallest of misstatements. Sad!......

Because he only cares about the court of public opinion. He has never known consequences for his actions in his entire life. He expects his underlings and money to take care of everything so he can continue on in his own reality.

And he's a fucking moron

He is so delusional! As a business man (lol), when has not knowing something ever been excuse for one of his underlings he's fired? He is just digging his hole deeper. It's going to be great when more Cohen tapes come out and we hear him explicitly directing him to do this. It should also be pretty damn obvious to anyone with a brain (but it's Trump so it's questionable he has one) that you can't pay hush money during the election. I feel that's something the average American is aware of.

If he actually wrote those tweets, he spent at least half an hour this morning just working on them. I'm sure there wasn't anything more important to take care of, though.

Was listening to an interview yesterday where a conservative personality with many followers, speaking on behalf of his listeners, essentially said "Some people drink, some people smoke, everyone's got a vice." And conservatives are okay with everyone having a vice if that vice is paying porn stars who look like your daughter to have sex with you while your wife is pregnant.

Wait he's blaming the crimes HE committed on Cohen simply because Cohen is a lawyer and knows the law? What?

It is the case with many crimes. The distinction between Murder and Manslaughter is intent, for example.

Anyway, it is safe to assume that Trump's lawyer, carrying out the payments, informed his client that it was illegal. And the conspiracy to cover up the payments with fraudulent Trump Org payments and ever-evolving public lies about them demonstrate this awareness.

To be fair, he's kind of got a point. So far in his life, the ONLY court that's ever had consequences for him is the court of public opinion. The court of law has never touched him. And even if he went to trial, as long as he's getting a normal criminal trial, any jury with Trump supporters in it is going to find him not guilty no matter how much evidence is given.

As a lawyer friend of mine once said: "Ignorance of the law is the same as guilt of breaking the law."

Cheeto's strategy is to lie so much that eventually people just dont give a fuck anymore or they believe him.
One thing is clear though. He has become so desperate that he is flip flopping so hard in every new tweet and I actually quite love it.
The writing is on the wall. He's fucked.
